They'll have to clear the name with The Honeybadgers, who I remember being involved with February Album Writing Month one year!

The industrial air fresheners at my work - which I seem to spend a lot of time reading when I need a break from the office - have informed me that, in at least two different languages, "air freshener" would make a wonderful band name.

Luftfrisker (Danish) strike me as a playful synthpop act, while Ambientador (Spanish) would clearly be a dreamy wash of acoustic guitar and near wordless vocals that, nonetheless, conjure up some of the most beautiful love songs ever written.

Creepy Clown Craze

(Ambient Insane Clown Posse cover band, making the awful originals almost listenable).

Inner Dowsing Light

If it's not going to be a band name, it sounds like something I should have in my brain.

I don't know if any of you read The Hard Times, but I always find myself referring to it to people as "you know, the punk rock Onion", which I think would make a good band name.

The Punk Rock Onion wouldn't play punk rock, though, obviously. Maybe some sort of indie pop/ska fusion. They'd be really enthusiastic about things in general, and unapproachably friendly, and probably wear some sort of band uniform of very intentionally idiosyncratic coordinated casual clothes.

Not a "real thing" as such, but.

Aloha Snackbar were definitely a big part of the Orange County third wave ska scene in the 90s.

Lady Frieda Harris, the artist behind Aleister Crowley's Thoth tarot deck, painted for a time, before she met Crowley, under the name Jesus Chutney. I'm just going to leave that here.

Orange has almost no perfect rhymes. The only word in the 20-volume historical Oxford English Dictionary that rhymes with orange is sporange, a very rare alternative form of sporangium (a botanical term for a part of a fern or similar plant). Silver is another word for which it is almost impossible to find a perfect rhyme: the only candidate is the rare word chilver, which the 20-volume Oxford English Dictionary defines as 'a ewe-lamb' (i.e. a female lamb).
