Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Post by humblebee » Mon Feb 04, 2008 10:05

This is the thread for when we haven't got anything to say about band announcements or whatever but just want to enthuse wildly about Indietracks in a generic and unfocused manner.

Eeeeeeeeeeeee! I just got my ticket!

Eeeeeeeeeee!

Can't afford to buy my ticket yet but everything will be OK, won't it? I had a dream about it last night: I was wandering around the area, I could hear the POP! but I couldn't find the bit where the bands were playing and time was moving really fast and all I could see around me were cows and llamas. SCARY.

I can't bloody wait!

I wish you'd all stop buying tickets now. You are making me very anxious.

it's not as if it's getting acer (cos basically i don'-t really think that's doable), but it's maintaining the plateau of PROPER ACENESS.

I'm basically biting my thumb and saying EEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :-D

Ooh I'm all excited - so if there's 37 bands to announce, we've had 11 so far, and there's (THINKS) three I know of who've not been announced with (PALS, excited) and a couple that it seems implausible WON'T be playing... that still leaves TWENTY to go! And if Ballboy aren't a headliner... who IS? My money is on The Scottish Band (not that one), but it's like Christmas isn't it? I WANT to know now, but i always want to eek it out.

And and... will there be Train Gigs again? It's all too EXCITING!

slightly off topic, and its probably a long way to come for it, but i'd love to see Gordon Ballboy at one of your acoustic nights in the Lamb Mark.

back on topic, Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

don't start or i'll have to STAB you.

i love ballboy more than i love cake. it seems like it's been AGES since i saw ballboy.. but then it probably has been something ludicrous like 3 years. it cant be 3 years? i think it's been THREE YEARS!

I like the hits, if you will, but otherwise I'm fairly ambivalent... a bit like I am about that hefner band

but I was very impressed with ballboy at the spiral scratcher all dayer so I'm quite looking forward to seeing them again

I used to love them but I found them a bit boring at the Spiral Scratch all-dayer. The sound was just too big and every song was like a massive anthem, so there was no dynamic; it just all boomed along enormously at the same level and lost its effect.

I've never got into Hefner. I don't hate them or anything but they've just always failed to grab me like I feel they ought to.

I saw them in a massive room in Edinburgh and didnt really get it, unlike support band Aberfeldy who I found to be wistful and charming.

It was probably because it was in a big venue with loads of people crammed in front of me. I'd imagine Ballboy to be an ace band to listen to outside with the sun out.
And by me, I mean, Flexo.
