Yep, pretty cool.
There's a horrendous one that captures mainly me dancing like a twat during the Retro Spankees. Eeksh.

Indietracks was one of the best weekends ever! I didn't meet a single mean person - and I chanced into some wonderful conversations and opportunities to sing and play - though I had blisters after the first set of platform gigs - just from snapping my fingers while watching everyone else play!

I don't think I could have felt more welcome and happy and giddy and Stuart and everyone else did such a great job of keeping things going smoothly that it seemed effortless.

So glad it didn't rain, too - especially as the forecast was for thunderstorms, right?

I had a wonderful stroll to the grounds on day two and got to have a nice long chat with Jimmy Mcgee about Ivor Cutler! And Dana and I got to play with Darren Hanlon - we are such fans of his that when he asked if we wanted to play some acoustic stuff we were chuffed! That's what chuffed means, right?

Anyhow, everything I heard and everyone I was lucky enough to meet and talk to added up to an incredibly awesome experience and I don't think we could have wished or dreamt up more fun. Especially when you add in crazy glaswegians and that ballboy set outside!

Sorry if any of you felt trapped on a train by me - I was kinda winging it - I woke up a couple days later still thinking of other songs I could have played or meant to - oh well, it was unbelieveable.

some of the comments we've read make us blush and swell up with smiles, so thanks to all of you for helping make our trip to the UK so amazing!
We kinda wish we were still there with you all!

I too have not been able to stop listening to the just joans since we got home and David (smitten) called me last night (I answered the phone singing "he's bought another box set..." to the stereo in my van as I'm driving) to tell me that he's just left the store and found Cider and wants to stop by and drink it on the porch - just the thought of cider makes us think of all of you anorakers!

this post is too long, if you don't jump out the door it could go on forever...

best,
colin
yow!

ps- thanks to everyone who posted photos and videos - I've been reliving a lot of the past few weeks through yr lenses!
being nice IS a political act!

While I complained about the weather to anyone who would listen at the time, the weather at Indietracks and together with all the people and music and the overall mood, made it one of my happiest summer memories. Just look at it, how can you resist?

Awwww! I'm having a look at my photos. They're all from the drunkest part of Sunday evening. I shan't post a couple of the more compromising photos, but look!
