By the way, if you haven't seen already, two songs from the new KC album were put up on the Domino Records website. Well one was, but in the wrong name, but then that was taken down and the right one for that name replaced it, if that makes sense.

I'm really happy that Coast On By is on the new album - that was gorgeous at Halloween.

So, should I go to the first Homegame Pre-Season Friendly in Edinburgh? Trouble is, I'm not keen on 2/3 of the main acts, but I guess that would be compensated by some special guest type action (and Player Piano, who was ace at Halloween, and subsequent free PP EP). I'll have a free afternoon as I won't be taking part in the scramble for tickets for the Rovers game at East Fife that day so hmm...

It is only up the road...

I can't believe we're all good to go for Homegame so soon. Tickets and accommodation all booked. Blimey...

I've been humming and hawing about that also. I may have to be in London the night before so it'd involve a wee trek north early on the Saturday morning. Hmm.

Where are you lot staying for Homegame? Have you got a berth in Anstruther?

We're staying in Pittenweem. Here in fact -

Only a wee stagger along the coastal path/main road.

Oh my, that looks loverly.

I'm going to be in Crail, which I fear may be just too far for a late night stagger.

It is - you're probably best getting the bus in during the day and a taxi back at night. Taxi shouldn't be too expensive if there's a few of you sharing.

I saw Sparrow and the Workshop last week. I thought they were... OK. The ones with a bit more oomph were a lot more interesting than the other ones.

But yeah - Slow Club! David Thomas Broughton! Things In Herds! Hardsparrow!... OK, maybe not Hardsparrow... Karine Polwart is a lovely addition to the bill as well.

Yeah, I much prefer their oomphier ones. If they just played The Devil Song 10 times over I'd be chuffed.

I'm pleased to get a chance to see Love.Stop.Repeat and Adrian Crowley. And the Burns Unit were great in January, so it'll be good to see them again. Hopefully.

Three post mentalism!

Fucking hell, Adrian Crowley and James Yorkston are doing a set of Daniel Johnston covers at Homegame! It's got to be all kinds of brilliant.

Here's AC announcing it - http://www.fencerecords.com/beefboard/v ... hp?t=15700

And here's a film of True Love Will Find You In The End -
