Buttons

Post by RITH » Mon Jun 03, 2013 10:22 am

I've got a drawer full of the little buggers, but still I'm interested in making/ordering my own. What's a good & cheap place to have some 1" buttons made?

I am constantly disappointed that this is not a thread about a new indiepop band. Maybe if Knibbles is still looking for a name for her East Midlands indiepop all-girl extravaganza my prayers could be answered after all?

I've used Awesome Merchandise in the past and they are always good.

Recently I have been using Lights Go Out which is just one guy doing it in his spare time so the turn around can take a little longer but they are cheaper.
I am struck speechless by the nape of your neck.

Wow, these are SO much cheaper than what I ended up ordering (€ 85,- for 100 from a Dutch company). Thanks Ray!

Yowza!

If you want to order some now, have them delivered to me and pick 'em up at Indietracks I'll gladly bringthem along for you. Dunno howmuch postage you'd save but it's better than nothing.

That's a great offer. I'll have a think about that!

I got lucky with my Dutch order a bit: I ordered 100 1" buttons, and they sent me 100 1,5" buttons instead. I complained, and got the 100 1" buttons for free, and got to keep the 1,5" ones.

Still more expensive than the UK ones though.

1.5" badges sometimes look weird.

Awesome Merch's turn around is pretty quick, if you get your order in by mid-next week they *should* be able to do it.

You've got my address so just go ahead if you wanna :-)

We used Wee Badgers which is Manda Rin's company. I'm not sure what the prices were as someone else bought them, but her Mum had hand-delivered them by the next day!

My friends (who're on Anorak) used Wee Badgers for their wedding stuff and it was all BEAUTIFUL.

I've decided I'm going to stick with the ones I already have for now. I'll know where to look next time though. Thanks Ray!
