Correspondence Tapes (our Sheffield-based tape label)

Post by correspondence tapes » Mon Jan 09, 2012 7:02 pm

Hello there!

CORRESPONDENCE TAPES is a new Sheffield-based label, specialising in home-recorded folk and pop songs released on limited-run cassette packages and/or pay-what-you-like MP3/lossless downloads!

We have several releases due in 2012, beginning with our inaugural compilation In Wonderful Correspondence (featuring the likes of Adrian Orange, iji, Wisdom Tooth, Daniel Francis Doyle, and many more...) and Souvenirs (the debut album by Yorkshire four-track hobbyists Outside The Museum.)

We also have a huge array of distro items in stock, including releases from some of our favourite tape labels from around the globe including Fika, Gnome Life, Cass/Flick, Night People, and Yoyo.

It's all up for grabs here: http://correspondencetapes.bandcamp.com

Hello! I bought the Outside the Museum album yesterday (after seeing it recommended by Warren Myles) and it is very lovely.

Is the compilation going to be available to download at some point or is it only for streaming?

Your tape will be in the post on Monday morning - many thanks! And yes, the compilation is now available to download from the Bandcamp page completely for free!
