Does anyone have an email address for The Middle Ones they can send me? I've just sent them a message through myspace but it's two weeks since they last logged in.

Thanks to those of you who sent me an email address for the band. Anna says they've just started recording an album, which is exciting news. No word yet on when it'll be finished but it sounds like it's in the early stages.

Oh, wow! I've never listened to The Middle Ones before, but consider me convinced! I just listened through the songs on their MySpace page & will definitely be ordering the 10". I love the intimacy of their sound -- there's something about "two girls" bands that always pulls me in (Tattle Tale always comes to mind as a quintessential two girls project).

and... almost a year later... the scrapbooks arrived this morning... phew...

the ep includes riversong, slow bridge, courage and young explorer, and it's lovely...

hmm... each 4 track 10" ep comes in a scrapbook sleeve, with four or so photos to start you off...

there's a flickr group for you to add your pictures to, and to download souvenirs of middle ones shows you went to, or even pictures of other people's scrap books to add to yours, here http://www.flickr.com/groups/1359677@N22/

does that make sense?

just mail me off list (wiaiwya@hotmail.com) if you want to get a copy or two

phew...

Just got the new ep in the mail last night! The last song is a good living room slowdance makeout song!

lovely release!

(also got the Eux Autres strangled days ep - yow!)

Anyhow, I had a long evening of reorganizing our living room and setting up the stereo (one of our roomates moved out) and it was fun to have a couple brand new records to put on and putter around to!

anna and grace are trying to get on the green man bill this year. you probably know the deal: vote 'em into the top ten and they'll love you forever. it only takes a couple of minutes to sign up, and then you can vote every day! i reckon there are enough lovely people here on anorak for them to achieve this goal!

VOTE FOR THE MIDDLE ONES HERE: http://www.greenman.net/greenpollartist ... -ones/2371

remember that you can VOTE EVERY DAY!

meanwhile, the secret middle ones album rumblings continue...
stitch-stitch records is arctic circle, frànçois, i know i have no collar, ladybird, the lonely ponies, the middle ones, the mountain parade, my two toms, ray rumours, roxanne:theearlyyears & team brick
