from this interview it sounds as though it's very much in the 'thinking about and vaguely planning' stage.

minky, i'm quite sure you will get to see her play first, it would just make no sense to tour without having played local shows. also a good way to provoke a backlash as happened with wavves (whole european tour announced before he had played a single show).

My first 3 HoZac singles clubs arrived recently. Dum Dum Girls one is good - but the other two are as good, if not better. Been tracking down all the labels release tonight. Got 1 or 2 left to find. Shopping for records is so much fun. Even online.

thanks for trying to calm my nerves, e. one never knows, though! still disappointed she cancelled her show at the smell.

Is it possible to still order 7"s through Dee Dee? And, if so, how?

unfortunately she has sold out of her copies. i'm pretty sure you could still purchase it through hozac, but that would mean you'd have to join the singles club.

last i checked, dee dee still had copies of the "yours alone" 12" available through her myspace page, however.

@ the people disappointed not to get the hand-coloured 12": i don't know whether all the copies are the same, but, going by mine, you haven't missed a whole lot. the stamp is kind of cute, though.

she's updated her myspace with a load of forthcoming releases:

*** "JAIL LA LA" 7" (TBD)
*** "BHANG BHANG" 7" (SLUMBERLAND)
*** "JAIL LA LA" LP (HOZAC/?)
*** SPLIT 7" w/ SAINT ROSE (HELL YES)
*** 4-WAY SPLIT (ART FAG)
*** CASSETTE COMP OF PRE-LP SONGS & COVERS (ART FAG)
*** SPLIT 7" w/ CROCODILES (NEEDLESS)

the lp was supposed to be called 'lovers & covers' i think, but maybe the covers are now going to be on the tape instead. maybe she wrote a whole bunch of new songs.

she's signed to sub pop, who are "hoping to have Dee Dee’s first full-length out in the first half of next year". hope that doesn't mean the hozac lp is no longer happening.
