With 2016 surely being a massive one due to it being 30 years since 1986 I thought it would be good to have some early indie pop trailblazers for 2015 as follows;-

The Loft - Peter Astor
Felt
Jesus and Mary Chain - They're doing a Psychocandy tour this year
Jasmine Minks
Shop Assistants
Marine Girls
The Wedding Present
Robert Forster
The Bats

I've seen him at a festival! The Musicians Of The British Empire played End Of The Road in 2008. His ideas have almost certainly hardened since then, though.
I saw him at Reading in, i guess 2002-2003 with The Buff Medways and waaaaaaayy back in 1997 headlining the 'acoustic' stage at the Gillingham free festival with Thee Headcoats/ees. How about The A-lines as a Billy free alternative though, he can stay home and babysit.

So The A-Lines then, and Ye Nuns.

Ooooh, i've just remembered those Delmona's reissues are out, what next week? CAN'T WAIT for those..

The Delmonas

EDIT: as if my magic, i've just got my 'these records are dispatched' email from Damaged Goods.
and that snare drum, that drum roll
means we've got a winner

Are the A-Lines that band I'm thinking of? I think I have a 7" of theirs. It's well good.
I am struck speechless by the nape of your neck.

Talk is cheap. DIY or DIE.

These people do good deals on ethical printing. I'll bung you a tenner.

That said, Indieytracks might not want a sweary with their name on it. I'll take Fuck the Gender Binary as a t-shirt nonetheless. Maybe replace Indietracks with Indiepop ;-)

The A-Lines has been the best suggestion anybody has made on this thread. Give yourself a pat on the back. A pat on the back. A pat on the back. Can we have The Trashwomen as well? (I know, I know, not indie pop).

May as well get these in early!

The Wednesday Club - I saw them last night with their new configuration of Adam on stand up drums/vocals. Just complete entertainment from start to finish. They had the set list on a placard at the front facing the audience so that the audience could shout the songs out. http://cathndadrecords.bandcamp.com/alb ... ng-strange

Autobodies - I saw them last night as well. Ferg, Rosie and Matthew from Leeds. Again, brilliantly fun to watch. I'd do a record by them in an instant if I had the cash. https://soundcloud.com/autobodies

Silver Fox - This has to happen! https://soundcloud.com/wearesilverfox

And...

Buzzcocks
Jilted John
Buzzcocks
Smittens
Buzzcocks
Fat Tulips (or any of Paul Huckerby's brilliantly inept garage bands)
Buzzcocks

There's been quite a few mentions of The Fat Tulips so far. They get my vote too. It would be really ace if it could happen. Is it likely?

Someone linking to Louder Than War's review on the 2014 thread reminds me John Robb has reformed The Membranes.

Would love

Tenniscoats

to play. As if there's not enough at Indietracks already to make my heart melt.
