I have some tap dancing shoes at home. They're not mine though, so I'm afraid they're too small. Can I clap dance instead?

I've just done an Indietracks interview with Just Joans, which should be on their site soon, but here's a sneak preview I think you may approve of.

Q6: Are you aware there is going to be a sing along (featuring lots of Just Joans songs) in the train at 2pm Saturday? Are you tempted to pop along?

David- yes, i've read about the sing-a-long on anorak forum. of course i'll be there! who do you think posted all those requests for our songs? i shall be the one at the front heckling and booing loudly whenever they try and sing a song that wasn't written by me." BOOO...more ME"!

Katie- Absolutley! I love a sing-along on a train, as I'm sure anyone who has ever caught the 23:41 train out of Glasgow Central, on a Saturday night can testify! Can we do China in Your Hand" by T'Pau?
And we just can't wait to make more mistakes and to fluff our breaks, and to stuff our faces with cake.

Hand-based rhythmic accompaniment is encouraged. We may even provide some percussive devices that you can use too!

Yes you can. Would Come Out 2Nite be ok for you? It's already in our repertoire.

If everything ends up sounding like 'Do they know it's Xmas?' It's Tonieee's fault.

At first I worried that no one would come to this. Now I'm a bit worried there'll be thousands* of people piling onto the train like in Tokyo rush hour.

*Mild exaggeration.

YESSSSSS!

I also second the White Town suggestion. That was one of my highlights of last year, everyone singing along to that.
