Look what I did!

Post by Sylvie » Sat Sep 29, 2007 10:44 pm

A thread to post pictures of your own creative handywork.

I've been all excited today, because I set up my brand spanking new Wacom Intuous3 graphics tablet http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wacom-Intuos3-T ... 984&sr=8-2
To try doing something other than writing my signature on the screen, I thought I'd do a silly illustration of myself.

I did this for mutantchoux for over here: http://mutantrock.blogspot.com/

I'm feeling rather pleased with myself

it's funny how this image thing has stretched the image upwards, it's supposed to be stretched outwards

There's got to be some practical use for things like this

A practical use or maybe I ought to get out more and stay away from post-it notes.

This is my latest attempt, I videoed a wee bit of a Dananananaykroyd gig, of Duncan the guitarist rocking out. This is 74 frames of animation synced with some really bad audio.

But hey it sure beats going out meeting real people.

Er, same here. Except mine's not as good. It's far far better than my previous attempts though, so I'm sure that's what counts. Probably.

heh thanks :) scrappy drawings from my travel journal... a giraffe from toronto zoo, i'd forgotten what beautiful elegant faces they have and such lovely sad eyes with long eyelashes... a page about canada (i'm the one in the catsuit holding a broken polka dot heart) ... and a happy cloud. what that has to do with anything i don't know.

I finished my umbrella designs. Four of them will look a bit like these...

Image

I've made this picture quite small but the top left one is old women with sticks which is the Welsh version of cats and dogs which is on the bottom right. The flower pattern on the bottom left has slightly thicker lines in the final version and forms the shape of a petal on each panel so that it makes a whole flower when the umbrella is opened.
