Bless.

Moppet is having a nice cuddle with me at the moment and we are watching an array of poor programming choices while Astrid is out.

Oh how nice your hipster cats are. I recently got a girlfriend who is about as cat obsessed as me and it's been a lot of fun just playing with cats all day.

So I fell asleep on the couch and when I woke up, my cat was sitting on my leg! I couldn't move! So I grabbed my phone off the coffee table and took a picture.

Cute.

Also, no wonder you fell asleep on the sofa, under a duvet. That sounds awesome. Why aren't I under a duvet with a cat on me?

We've trained Humphrey to like hanging out under the duvet. The other cats do not like. Although conversely they can lie on top for hours, whereas he is incapable of standing/sitting still.

That's fantastic though, snuggling a cat under a duvet is, in many ways, the dream.

Sam has been moved to his new home and so is in cat prison for the next however-long. Being semi-feral, this has upset him no end - he's currently going through the 5 stages of grief - today the pendulum was oscillating between 'denial' and 'anger'. He's holed up on one of the stairs to the attic and refusing to look at you if you try and say hello.
I think it's going to be a very long time before he trusts me again. Bum.

Awww, I hope he comes to love his new home. I'm sure he'll forgive you soon.

I am not looking forward to moving Moppet again, this will be the fourth move I have forced upon here... But staying where I am isn't an option and obviously she is coming with.

My girlfriend got a little kitty. So cute!

She basically is the cuddliest thing. Purrs all day and night and falls asleep on your chest.

Still, it's probably time we need to bring up the subject of death to Sam for the first time, I fear.
Frida died a couple of hours ago. She was a very sweet cat and we'll miss her.

Aw. One of our cats has insulin-responsive diabetes and it makes me very sad to think of anything bad happening to her. Bye bye kitty.

Very sorry to hear that.

I'm now living with a 15 year old cat so I'm often worried she can't have long left, but she seems to be quite as fit as any cat I've ever seen.

Hopefully you've all seen this, but if not watch it 5 times:

In other news, I am either becoming a deranged millionaire or an arch-hipster (who no longer listens to music):

I'm sorry I'm thinking about cats again.

It's sad that the original video is a joke.

But not sad enough that it ruins the amazing song.
