I got Warhammer 40k for xmas 1993.

I remember Warhammer being a hobby of two or three guys in my class when I was about ten years old.

Which was in 1996.

right i've deleted the spammer, but i'm leaving this thread here so it looks like you all love talking about warhammer. haha.

i preferred Blood Bowl.

Cor, i'm going to dig around in my parents' house and find all my old Warhammer stuff. I wonder if i'll remember how to play? It must be 15 years since i last had a go.

You should have started it in anorak hobbies ;)

All of the side games were much more playable I found, stuff like Bloodbowl, Necromunda and Man of War - all fantastic. Whenever I played one of the WH Fantasy or WH 40k battles we got to turn 3 and then wandered off and did something else.
