Thanks, Nottingham! Really enjoyed Martha, The Sock Puppets and The Give It Ups. Wish I could have stayed for the evening section of the gig, but hey - one more set of stomping feet might have brought the entire building down!

I've got my parents arriving in five minutes and I can't face it.

Thanks so much to everyone involved - my co-organisers, all the bands, and everyone who came - for making that the best all-dayer we've done. I won't forget that day in a long time.

I want to go back to bed.

Never have I been so happy to be covered in the sweat of so many other happy people (I'm not suggesting it's a regular occurrence)!
My other highlights were Martha (believe the hype) and The Hobbes Fanclub but that Standard Fare set really was something else. More than a fitting send off. For a while at least.

Wahey! That was GREAT!
Well done everyone for drinking the Chameleon out of booze. And for showing restraint during Standard Fare when the ceiling started to look a bit ropey.
What a fantastic day. Thanks Nottingham!

It was probably when the sound guy turned on the bass amp *after* our first song and you got the thud of Lou's bass hitting you! "The Hobbes Fanclub - pop, osteopathy and physiotherapy in one handy package".

We had lots of fun playing (despite my sobriety induced nerves), so sorry we couldn't stay all day it sounds like we missed a real belter. It was lovely to see so many of you dancing down the front and to catch up with you afterwards.

It's a good job the Chameleon don't offer shot-gun weddings because I would have married everyone there.

My highlights included Martha, Standard Fare, the massive banner and getting a Riots Not Diets lighter.

Man, this was too much fun. All the bands were amazing (the ones I saw, I couldn't get into the room from WImpshake onwards), it was lovely seeing everyone again and the Bendy Ceiling of Death was terrifying. I may have played my part in drinking the bar dry. Thanks to Riots Not Diets for playing the Sweet Nothings too.

Well done Andy, Ian and Sam and everyone else involved. It was the best one of these yet, and I can't wait until the next one. I'm getting a bit of an indiepop comedown. The real world seems a bit wanting today.

That was such fun!!

Enjoyed pretty much all the bands playing - lots of really good punk indiepop. Nice to see Martha for the first time in particular, after hearing good things anout them. Certainly the best/ most enthusiastic audience I've seen for a long time too. Crowd surfing, even!!

A big thank you for everyone involved in making this happen. It was worth every mile coming down from the frozen north for this.

Great, great day. Having never actually heard Martha before yesterday they nearly walked off with band of the day honours before the inevitable Fare-snatching. There was a point during Girlfriend, when I'd gone downstairs for a bit, where it seemed some bloke's head would before long be the only thing holding up the performance floor. Such widespread enthusiasm from first to last too.

I'd forgotten about the crowd surfing. I don't think I've been at a gig with crowd surfing since 1992.

Thanks for coming from so far away, anyway!

Fantastic day! Standard Fare were awesome (see vid above), other highlights for me were Sock Puppets; The Fireworks; and Milky Wimpshake, but to be honest there was not a bad band on the bill, and how many gigs can you say that about?

Next year we need the tea break to be at least an hour, as a sit-down curry was otherwise out of the question, and perhaps some temporary scaffolding to support the downstairs bar ceiling?

Thanks to all involved!
Cheers!

Thanks to everyone for an ace day. Think it is going to take me at least a week to recover from all the boozes/dancing/singing! It was lovely to see so many friends again & was very impressed with Martha.

Amazing, Just amazing. Nottinghams, you lovely lovely people. x

And great to meet you, Tobi! Even if instead of introducing myself, I shouted "Waaah, that's my most favouritest Bis song!" in your face.

This was the most wonderful thing. Cheers, Anorak Nottingham!

I may be getting too old to pogo to Milky Wimpshake though.
