hey! February is aaaages away. You'll have to remind us closer to the time. You'll need to pack jeans, too.
I'm going to bring slacks. Not really, I just wanted to say that as a counterfoil to squirrelbooty's tights.

Our special celebrity guest star, Rachelbooty is flying in from her tropical paradise on Thursday, but I'm driving up for the Friday evening (11/16) thru the Sunday.
dude, really? from here it certainly looks like we're friends... hold on, i'll try to send you a message.

jeffrey lewis is playing in williamsburg the weekend you guys are here. (not sure if he's anyone's bag except mine and cuppie's, but just saying, just in case.)

I've always wanted to go to the drag queen karaoke in Brooklyn--in Red Hook, Taryn's 'hood--that has Joy Division on the juke box: Hope & Anchor Would you guys be up for that on Fri or Sat?

I am up for whatever!

I don't know much about this Jeffrey Lewis. I've heard good things though.

Maybe I can do a one week quick course in him before I come.

Freaking fuck!

I went and bought some new pajama bottoms because I needed some warmer ones and thanks to my nearly 33 year old eyes, I've ended up with some with little pink skulls all over 'em. They looked like smudgey dots to me.

WhOO hoo hA! My 12-year old niece has those.

We're all old--you could have told us they were smudges. Well, except Vanessa; she'd have ratted you out.

Will you still bring me key lime delights even though I laughed at your Riott Grrrrl pjs?

I bought junk food for my car trip. Let the festivities begin!

Ugh! I just had another better look, and the skulls' eyeholes are heart-shaped.

I'm visiting NYC again in two weeks (for three weeks!). If I'm lucky I'll have at least one week to spend in a friend's house in Upper West Side. The rest I'll probably spend mostly in Princeton, NJ.

It's gonna be cold, no?

it's not very cold now but i think it will be colder in two weeks. but i think winter would be the best time to be a tourist in new york. there are lots of beautiful places to ice skate and when that ass-clenchingly cold wind blows in your face, it's just an excuse to duck in somewhere for a hot drink and spend all day in a museum.

$5 for the bestest indie disco in Manhattan plus My Teenage Stride on 2/1! Ye cannae beat that with a stick! It's at that Don Hill's. Finally a great, super-cheap show. I only have to spend $200 on a train ticket or in gas...

Have a great trip, Dennis! You guys should come to the aforementioned gig on 2/1!!

Yubes: that's good about the strike. I'm going to book my ticket now then. I really can't be arsed driving.

I just went to print out that flyer that gets you into Mondo for $5 and Don Hill's Web site is playing My Teenage Stride. I got a little stupidly giddy. Giggle.

I hope you guys are having a superfun time in New York this weekend and that Don Hill's was good dancing fun.

B.!, I'm going to call you B. from now on, Yubo.

Remember when we decided to take that taxi after Don Hill's and the driver wouldn't take the card? We got off easy.
