I used to live there... lovely parks, twisted by design, spillers, what's not to love?

My boyfriend lives in Cardiff so I'm there fairly often. Will be around this weekend for Swn Fest which I'm rather excited about. Hee!
Give over.

Wales!
I love Wales.
We go camping at Shell Island quite a bit during the warmer months.
It's totally well skill like.

Cardiff is pretty nifty too.
That Twisted by Design is a bit of a riot.

I think if I had a car I'd spend a lot more time in Wales.
It's a bugger getting anywhere by public transport.

Wales!

Originally from Wales. Neath, to be precise.
I spent a lot of my youth shopping in Spillers or going to the Square Club. Happy memories.
not really here

I used to go to Andey's Records in Aberystwyth quite a lot. I got a well good Pavement tribute album from there a few years ago. Fonda500, Saloon, Garlic, Comet Gain, Spearmint, ooh it were dead good.

Ray! I just read this.

Did you know I went to Aberystwyth for my degree? Did I know you were there?

When were you there? I wonder if we overlapped.

I loved Aber.

Ahhhh Aber.

I wish I were in Y Cwps right now, watching some manner of gig.

That sounds entirely possible. Did you ever buy any of the lucky-dips?

I was always tempted, but assumed there wouldn't be anything I wanted in there.

I'm going to be back in Cardiff next Monday-Tuesday for the first time in over 5 years. I can't wait. Unfortunately I'm there with work, but I'm leaving here superearly on Monday morning so that I get plenty of time there (ie. go to Spillers) before I have to do worky stuff. Though I don't suppose there's anything good going on on Monday night is there? I looked at gig listings and can't seem to find anything.
