Saved. But that's not for bloody ages.
Yeah, fair play. I think there are a couple more in the mix that are earlier than that but not fully ready yet

Are there any popshows coming up in Birmingham so I can make a proper trip out of it?
May 16th. Save the date x
Isn't there a Trust Fund show soon, or did I imagine that?

I'm glad I swung by here... a Trust Fund show would be very welcome, especially as I couldn't make it to the last one. I'll keep my ear out for the date/venue. I had a pretty manic end to 2013 but I'm hoping to make it out to a lot more shows this year. I'll put May 16th in the diary ;)

I saw that the Bham Popfest organisers reported some 'very exciting news' on Monday via Facebook.... I'll be interested to hear what it is once it's announced!

Is it time for another Atta Girl night soon??

I posted a message here idly inquiring about Stanley Brinks & The Wave Pictures playing in Bham and got a reply saying '7th March is free... Point me in the right direction...'. Does anyone know a suitable promotor who might be interested whose details you could pass on? If so, that'd be great as I'd love to see them play in Bham.

DIY, guy. I guess it really depends what sort of money they need.

I've been told how much they're asking for. WAY out of my league.

Hey ho, thanks both for investigating! I should have guessed they'd want quite a lot... I gave the person from Fika the link to the Birmingham Promotors website but I think they're now booked to play in Hull on that free date.

As an aside, is anyone going to Ezra Furman at the Hare & Hounds?

Wasn't that the guy who was always trying to shoot Bugs Bunny? (I have no idea who Ezra Furman is)

Date for your diaries: Monday 5th May - One Happy Island + tbc @ Cherry Red's, John Bright Street.

So who wants to put me up during Brum Popfest?

I've not worked out exactly what bits I'm going to yet (I don't really care about many of the bands. Don't tell the rest of Anorak), but I'll definitely need somewhere to stay on the Saturday night. (On the Sunday afternoon, I'm thinking about popping down to Leamington Spa for the Kinky/Okinawa Picture Show show).
