That's weird. Just checked and it's showing as 6pm in fb for me?

Anyway, yeah, get round for about about six!

Well that was all kinds of lovely. Thank you for a lovely show everyone.

Also I left before I got vomity drunk and bought myself some lovely treats on the way home for my hangover, so sober me thinks drunk me is kind of nice. I hope drunk me was nice to everyone.

I'm putting on a gig at Ort Cafe tonight!

It's like a short play with poetry and stuff as the headliner, a show called "Practise Patience," plus two bands (Travels by Telephone (awesome acoustic pop) and Okinawa Picture Show (brum acoustic punx))

Where's Ort Café? I just like to know what's going on :)

Hope the gig went well, Paul.

Anyone fancy putting the Sweet Nothings on in Bee-ham then?

Ort Cafe was nice! It's on the Moseley Road in Balsall Heath - they had drawings up on the walls and table football, and a vegan options cafe bit (I didn't have any food but I had quite a lot of Red Stripe). Haven't been before but going again tomorrow night for Mark Hibbett. It's Ort Cafe Week.

And last night was good too! Listening to delightful music and watching interesting things. Spending pocket money on cds and zines. Learning that the German word for squirrel translates as "oak kitten". Having a conversation about Birmingham architecture on the bus home with a stranger.

Thanks to Paul for putting it on and for singing with guitar when very poorly.

It's opposite Moseley Baths.

'Doors' at 7pm :)

We've got four bands on the bill so likely to be starting pretty soon after that. Think Frozy are on first too!

Is anyone coming to ours for Halloween? Started buying decorations today :)

We've got Jackolantern playing (Chris East's Halloween side project) plus the Spook School doing their Edinburgh Festival comedy show 'Land Of Giants' and Two White Cranes (solo music from Roxy who is in Trust Fund and Grubs and Nervy Betters).

Costumes encouraged but not mandatory, if you're not into it then that's fine! Just come for the gig :)

Only 12 tickets left for SPoonboy and ONSIND. Once they're gone the gig is fully sold out and there won't be any on the door. Like, actually, for reals.

Already sold over 40, it's gonna sell out so if you're going to go plase buy a ticket so you don't miss out :)
