Did you see Chris Stride saying, maybe jokingly, that he will bring Offbeat back if 150 people like the status about it coming back, on Offbeat's Facebook page:

Ace! I'm not on Facebook so can't like. Do you think enough people like it they'll turn the Raynor Lounge back how it used to be too?

They're painting the Three Tuns grey. Does this mean Thornbridge have taken it over?

(it might be undercoat)

Anyone know a good place to get a phone unlocked?

(Also, tonieee, is the Three Tuns open again yet?)

I haven't noticed as I tend to walk around with my head in the clouds... I'll have a look out the window in a bit and see if I can tell. Best would be for me to check on my way home but I'll have probably forgotten by then!

You could try one of the dodgy junkie cash-point shops around the market? (I got mine done at Meadowhell but the shop's gone now).

Three Tuns seemingly isn't Thornbridge and is opening today I think, according to a thread on the SheffieldFascism.

Gah! Forgot to check. I told you I would! I was even thinking about it as I was getting in to the lift but it completely left my mind by the time I got to the bottom.

That's the plan for us, Mr O'Matic! Desperately in need of some of That Dancing to some of That There Indiepop, after the previous fortnight's various horrors of snow (do not like) and Day Job (REALLY do not like)...

You do all realise someone's made 3-D buildings in the Google Earth version of Crookes, don't you?

Since I made this discovery approximately 86 per cent of my waking hours have been spent spinning and panning and zooming around a virtual reality version of Fulton's Foods.

Can you zoom in close enough to see the horsemeat lasagnes?

I'll be laughing on the other side of my face when their cauliflower cheese grills turn out to contain potato.

I never ever got into the Closed Shop. It never seemed to have much of an atmosphere and the Hallamshire is so near. The Hallamshire always seems too full these days though so maybe they can turn the Shop into my Commonside pub of choice.
