I'm in. I'm not telling you my team selection though, it's a secret.

I joined the Soundsxp one too Tom, although I've only posted there twice. Is that poor form? (I used to write for them y'know, back in the day, if that counts...)

I've done me a team for this. I'm usually shit at this sort of thing though, so my team will probably be propping up the league table by September at the latest. Still, they've got nice shirts.

Yes, they do, good effort on the kit design.

Did you? That must have been a long time ago. I have been involved with it for years....

Not poor form - I have opened the league to make it more competitive than just the five people we had last year!

I'm in too. Can't wait!

(Won't be saying that in a week's time, though. Probably "meh" instead...)

And my goalkeeper picks a fine time to ship four goals.

I'm in for a long season.

I got over-excited about there being three mexicans in the premiership. Only Dos Santos played and the other two didn't even make the bench. I'll be looking at making some transfers...

Another dire week for my lot. Not only are all my subs injured, but four of my outfield players are too and my star striker (Berbatov) isn't even getting a game as a result of all this transfer bollocks.

Crikey, I'm at the top! I'm sure this won't last, but I plan to enjoy it while I can. Deco is a points-machine!

Anyone know what happens if one of your players moves to another league (e.g. Senderos going to AC Milan)? Do you get to pick someone else for free or will I have to use my one weekly free transfer? I can't find anything in the rules about it.

Fucking hell. I may as well give up now.

Does anyone have a Premiership footballer they really don't like? For a small fee I'll add him to my team to bring about his certain doom.

I think my team might have woken up slightly this week. Star signing Berbatov still in the subs, obviously, but a lot of points in the defence this week, and a good performance from the goalie.

Hmm, I could just go and post exactly the same text about Spurs in the real football thread, couldn't I?

My team had a better week, but I've still got five injured players (and Berbatov who's doing nowt). I can't wait to get Steven Ireland in my team, that guy is incredible for £5.5m.

Collectively the Anorak league is ranked 4,904th out of 122,975 leagues in the game. We sort of rule!

Wow! I'm up in third!

Maybe not having the internet for a couple of weeks and not tinkering is the way to go...

Yeah, there's a lot to be said for not tinkering. Every time I sell someone they rake in the points the next week. That means you, Torres!
