I've just enjoyed watching some porno starring isabella rosselini over at the sundance channel

Image

essentially super glamorous and exotic isabella appears dressed as an insect or bug and gives us a frank and revealing insight into the insect or bug's most intimate practices

this came out last year and I missed it then but it's kind of wierdly magnificently brilliant, like play school but with hollywood euro royalty and extreme facts of life

the bee costume really does it for me- as does the poopy earthworm anus

I have no idea if this is safe for work or not, I guess it depends where you work

Umm...

Anyway I found this amazing site yesterday (twitter fans may already know this): http://www.nfb.ca (them what 'boards of canada' are named after)

It's all free!

I was particularly looking for:

The Sweater http://www.nfb.ca/film/sweater/

The Cat Came Back http://www.nfb.ca/film/the-cat-came-back/

and The Log Driver's Waltz http://www.nfb.ca/film/log_drivers_waltz/

to demonstrate the joys of Canadian childhood.

That Maureeeece Reeeechaaaaard animation is brilliant - French Canadians are so cute!

I kind of half-mentioned this on another thread, but, has anyone ever seen any Zagreb Film films? I, uhhh, acquired, a 4 Part Best-Of thing; the quality of the stuff is variable, this is a goody:

And on topic I went to see http://www.futureshorts.com/ yesterday and it was very enoyable. High ratio of hit to miss, and nice international coverage, and mixtures of animation, psuedo-documentary and realism.

This one was quite good:
Do watch it in High Quality (just watched it, and its only excerpts).

Does anyone know anything about the Russian Winnie The Pooh that they were talking about on Radio 4. It's supposed to be a culturally important superior version.

I helped a friend make a short film over the weekend, for a "make a film in 48 hours" competition thing (organised by the Colchester Film Festival).

He did the animation, I did the sound / music / talking.
