Re: Now We Are weekender, Brum(ish) 7-8th April

So where is the pre - do meet up?
And when?
The trains are seemingly fucked mid morning - bus replacements for part of it. No way. I'll set off earlier.

Re: Sheffield

I'm really sorry but I don't think I can make the birthday drinks. Seeing as it's my birthday too and I'm miles away, working and not organised anything for myself even. This is why I'd like my new friend to do something like that for me...

I almost read that as "dirty pants in the sink".......

Re: Nottingham

I'm back in that brew dog pub. The weaker beers aren't great so stick to the stronger ones. Where next I wonder? King Billy? Peacock? Poacher? Or somewhere else?

Re: Leicester Indiepop Alldayer, 24th March 2012

Does anyone know who the photographer at the front was and where he posts his photos? He was so polite and every time he moved to where we were he ducked etc to not get in people's way which was really nice of him. Summed up the whole atmosphere, just a great day. Can't wait for my first inidetrack...

Re: It's terrific by train

The train journey from Nottingham to Lincoln is only marginally less worse than the train journey between Lincoln and Grimsby. My heart sinks every time I hear the words Fiskerton, Bleasby and Burton Joyce. Could be worse. "Bulwell, Hucknall, Newstead" or to really hit rock bottom, "Mansfield Woodh...

1045 Leeds - London Kings Cross right now.

82215 is strangely addictive watching where it is presently.

Re: Leicester

Leicester Alldayer was great (or should I say GRATE because I missed Hibbett and should have missed another band instead). Thanks to everyone there. My legs still hurt from dancing.

Re: The Just Joans, from Motherwell with love

I'm assured that Camila will let us all know. The album launch is 31st? March. Wish I could afford to go to Glasgow and get embarrassingly hammered with the band again but I have a 'prior engagement' that night.

Sting? Sting? I'll wash my mouth out. I meant strong.
Sting is just a pain in the arse, musically and if it's a bee/wasp.

Re: Nottingham

I'm sat in the Brew Dog pub now on my third attempt (first I missed last orders and the second my friends voice was giving out and it was packed so she felt she couldn't shout). So I'm here and it's ace. Good beers "Hops kill Nazis" 7.8% half pint. Don't mind the prices as they are all pretty sting ...
