Re: Nottingham

I was in the Navigation not so long ago, Also the Trent Navigation and the Lion. The beer in the Chameleon would be ok if Nick put some Magpie on the Handpump but seems to have lost interest. There are about 6 -10 local breweries who would love to sell him the stuff. Flipside & Magpie as well as the...

Re: Who's camping?

I thought the campsite staff were nicer than before. Not so the arsehole who lives in the workshops near the gates to the railway. Rude, sexist, offensive, aggressive twat. Drove at full speed at pedestrians on the road and seems to want to pick a fight with everyone.

Re: Who's camping?

We weren't camping, but we did get a cab to the site one day and the driver was the guy who owns all the land around the campsite and backing onto the festival site. He was really, really nice, told us we were welcome to cross his land to take a shortcut to Ripley, and said that the owner of that c...

Re: Indietracks 2012 Compilation now available!

I didn't really get to check the compilation before the festival but its great. One small problem. I seem to have 50 tracks not 52. 14 Iced Bears and The Spook School are missing. The tracklisting pdf only shows 50 as well. There seems to be different versions on the MP3 and MP4 downloads. Fortunate...

I knew there was something I meant to ask you about last night. I was enjoying the music too much though.

Re: Indietracks 2012 Memories and Photos

I always worry that it won't be as good as other years and I was a bit grumpy at times. Come on, I was ill. Somehow it lifted me and I made it through the weekend. The healing power of indiepop. The shock of seeing a non-indiepop world at Nottingham bus station was awful. It was an amazing weekend, ...

Re: Nottingham

Enjoy the afternoon everyone. work has got the better of me (shifts - boo) and I've only just woken up. It's 2pm so I'd probably get to you just as I was having to leave for work again. Really pissed me off with all the monarch fanaticism of people yesterday. Any opinion other that total OTT worship...

I think I was a bit worse for wear by the time the gig was on. After my date I went on a mini pub crawl. Happy pissed. And yes the date went well Jamie. Work was cancelled early so we were in town in the afternoon.

Anyone doing anything this afternoon? I was due to go to the Green Festival which is apparently on at the Arboretum, but my friend has to work until 4. Yes, she's let me down twice in two weeks now. Does not bode well.

Getting in at 12? Does that mean you are on the dreaded 'bustitution'? I'm avoiding that and travelling earlier.

Is that 12 at New Street or The Hawthorns?
I'm guessing from "subterranean death maze" you must mean New Street. :)
