Re: The Football

How are Brentford signing players for a million quid? No idea ! Gutted he went. An exciting player. I also should of added that I wait with baited breath to see what our new Chair does. I didn't particularity have much time for Hearn but he did bring financial stability to the O's. Shame he seemed ...

Re: The Football

Leyton Orient How will you do? Hopefully build on last season by getting into the promotion places once more (please no more Play-off finals. I have had enough misery) Which clubs did you like and dislike most last season? Peterborough and erm Peterborough. Sadly for them the excellent Britt Assomb...

Re: C86... expanded!

Enjoyed what I saw of David Westlake (although I missed A Sun and A Small Star!) and Design. The Wedding Present seemed a bit su...

Well looks like I am spending a long weekend in Amsterdam at the beginning of August. Found a couple of bars on the net (here, here and here) that look interesting but any other recommendations for beer, food and maybe a place that plays decent muzak?

I am sure a certain anorak person can guide you much better than me but was there last September and the best bar second to none I found was Moeder lambic . Micro brews from around the world including lesser know Belgian stuff and the cheese range also very good. Very friendly bar staff too. Note th...
