Re: *whispers* ...literary journals?

I've never actually read it, but gather "Slightly Foxed" is supposed to be quite good...?

I subscribe to McSweeney's but that's not really about books...

Re: Sat 10 May - Spiral Scratch indiepop disco - London

Wow, this was the most wonderful fun I'd had in a long time. I'll certainly miss the club during the summer months. Thank yous for playing my requests too!

Ooh, I might have to come along to this. Just put the Sparky's Magic Piano CD on before I saw this, so it must be a sign. Or a coincidence at the very least.

Re: Weds 12 Mar: The School/Pocketbooks/Sunny Street/Give It Ups

Aw, I'm really pleased with The Give-It-Ups review - she's obviously worked hard to find something nice to say about us, which I feel was quite a challenge! Although I'm not quite sure what schmindie means...

Really sad to have missed most of the last two bands based on the reviews. too!

Re: Thu 20/3 - Horowitz + Town Bike + The Mai 68s - London

Ooh, really enjoyed that! Haven't been to The Betsey Trotwood for years! Thought The Mai 68s were particularly enjoyable (from the three songs we caught - stupid train cancellations stupid), and the Phantom Bassist and Drummer from Horowitz were beautifully eerie!
