Doing a 'new thing'. It won't be on Odd Box.

Yep, it has. It is a different thing though. Online writing about music is driven by clicks, exclusives, videos and streams..... I think there are less people writing about music in that old fashioned magazine kinda way.

Re: Your Indietracks 2017 Wishlist

This. If some people had their way it'd be two alternating line ups stretching into infinity (I exaggerate for comedic effect but you know what I mean). Agreed. But I think a few bands coming back is alright. But maybe not alternating every other year though. Some bands haven't played for 5/6/7 or ...

Re: Are there any modern music magazines that are any good?

Trev reckons Record Collector but I'm interested in ones that have are mostly about new music. And on paper, none of this new fangled internet nonsense. To be fair to RC it does a lot of collecting stuff - but has a good reviews section these days which reviews new stuff along with reissues. I used...

Record Collector is pretty much the only music mag that I read these days. I like collecting, I guess.

Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

Not feeling the "good festival, but the music was a bit meh" thing. I thought this was the best line-up ever! Each to their own and all that, obvs. I certainly had a grand time music wise but I have to admit I wasn't massively excited by a lot of the bands this year (either through having seen them...

Pop'n'Hops

You may not know that I have quit the rat race (packed in the day job) and I am in the middle of opening a craft beer and record shop. Record wise - The shop will be stocking all the good stuff and trying to focus on stuff that I lov...
