After 16 years of suppression I suddenly remembered last night that I used to sing "You are my sunshine my only sunshine" to my dog. I think I used to cry when I did it too. Does anyone have the number of a good therapist? Oh I love Never Never by The Assembly. http://youtube.com/watch?v=utlmzYEvHK4...

The white is just a delight. It's all floral and non-offensive and rocket fuel alcohol content. Each day I wonder when I will see her again.

Bloody Mary's. I just got a fresh supply today - tobasco, worcester and celery but couldn't find any vodka.

Had a lot of fun dipping gerkins into wasabi today. Just hope my eyesight returns soon.

Song for the first wedding dance

If you are so inclined:

Enjoy the Silence - Depeche Mode

OK so I'm a bit warped but it's a beautiful song.

Nah I saw an Indian lady guest on a cookery programme show how to make naan in an oven. In fact she showed a fireman how to make a curry for his entire troup and the naan was done in a regular oven and took a couple of minutes. f there is a will there's a way.

What type of bread? I wanna give naan a try. Looks dead simple. I need to be making some pastry for my pal soon as well as they don't sell the frozen stuff here as ovens have just been introduced.

For the handclaps, apparently the best way to record them is to slap your legs with both hands just above the knees, rather than clap your hands. Apparently you're more likely to be in time and it sounds sharper. That's what someone who works in a studio told me once, although he might have been ha...

I'm fed up with playing solo. I'm fed up with perfectly credible labels and promoters refusing to touch me because I play solo, fed up with distributors taking Atomic Beat's other record but refusing to touch mine because I play solo. I'm fed up with going on first by default because I play solo. I...

Festive Ales! They're all over the place at the moment and they're all excellent. Last night I had a Mr Scrooge. It was wonderful! It had an ever-so-slight hint of pressed apples! I swear. Best pint in ages. Mr Scrooge was on in the pub last night. It was pleasantly smooth on the palate. What I wou...

Tried Ebulum the other day - a dark elderberry beer brewed by the same folks that do Fraoch. It was delish but dangerous at 8% abv. So when's this party of yours La-di-da?

Loads foodie stalls in San Francisco do clam chwder in sourdough bowls. That's right kids you eat the chowder then the bowl. They looked amazing and I was a bit a regretful I didn't eat meat and found the smell of clam chowder revolting. I like making olive bread, sundried tomato bread is yummy and ...

I watched I Am Legend last night. Apart from the dubious biological premise (but all zombie movies have this) it was really good and the monsters movements were amazin'! Will SMith gets his top off at one point 'n all and he even cries! Bless.

I recently saw a fox on the train platform. It jumped down on the tracks and into the bushes where 30 seconds later came this noise I can only dexcribe as some sort of foul-ish death rattle. I wouldn't like to get shouted at by whatever type of animal that fox snuffed. Unless the noise was the fox.
