Does anyone fancy adopting my friend who's a newbie to Nottingham? You know show him the sight, where to avoid, what's hot and what's not or just have in depth discussions about music, politics, literature, religion, philosophy and all the other multitude of things he knows a shit load about. Oh inc...

Well I'm listening to many tunes on radio XFM and they've had a cracking set so far. Although I like Radiohead's new tune Rainbow something I get nauseated listening to it as I get a mental image of the freaky video. Seriously.

Slaughterhouse is quite entertaining if I remember correctly from reading it three years ago. I just finished Philip K dick's Valis and I liked that. I think Philip could have written a leaflet on aphid infestation and I would lap it up. Oh wait, he kinda did in the first chapter of Scanner Darkly.

And BEVERLY BLOODY KNIGHT! (or is that GMTV?) every time she releases a record its on the news, despite never really having done anything of interest or hugely successful. WHY? WHY WHY? I always wondered about that and her getting headline slots at festivals I might have enjoyed if not for that.

It stands for oh my goodness. I'm not medidating at the moment but I think it would be a good idea as my furrowed forehead would make a klingon jealous.

Watched the last episode of the Vicar of Dibley last night. Loved the Matrix style ending. I seem to have missed a few years worth of episodes however. I detect a boxset splurge coming up.

[quote="caramarydaisy amy winehouse has a new hairdo??![/quote] Omg you haven't seen or heard? It reminds me of the time I forgot to put the colurant in my hair dye mix and bleached my roots a nice shiny yellow. I think everyone has to go through a complete hair change at some point in their lives s...

Why are you so obsessed with the BBCs obsession with Marks and Spencers? Huh? Why am I obsessing over obsession? Oh yeah I just like the word. Joking aside I too would like to know why half the guff that gets through onto the news should be reserved for programmes like Watchdog. Did anyone see the m...

I tried to get some good photos of some aquarium fish but they are literally slippery customers. Especially the camera shy tetras. As soon as the camera was pointed at them they'd dart away. Wish I had a camera I could change the exposure on.

Haha! I know exactly what you mean. I think for me it is a result of being exceptionally shy and a bit chubby at school, and most of my PE teachers for the sports I didn't like were male and very masculine. I found them utterly terrifying. The female teachers usually did things like netball and aer...

What is this 'secrets' bar you speak of? I like the idea of sweets having an exoskeleton. It was such a feat of engineering it was discontinued due to high production costs. If I close my eyes I can still remember the sensation of the nest like exterior breaking under the pressure of my mouth. Damn...

If you google it you can find a lot of piss takes of the title. Don;t think it will be one I add to my reading list. I had to laugh when I saw a book entitled "Women who love men, who hate women". I think I should write the sequel "Women who love men, who hate women that love them but love women who hate men". I already did the research.
