It's good if you use vegetable stock instead of just water, and mix it with some roasted veg (especially red onion and cherry tomatoes) and some coriander. Definately. It's much better making yourself than the ready made crap giving cous cous a bad name in the shops. Roasted shallots are absolutely...
Theres a lovely khaki green cardigan in my local BHS at the moment. i keep popping in to see if it's made the sale rack but so far no joy. How many cardigans are too many though? i have 4 now, is a fifth one too many? Just go for a day of the week theme then you'll have an excuse to buy three more.
Good range of knee highs too.La-Di-Da wrote:I've heard that about BHS pants.
Rob's a fan too.
And he's very particular about his pants.
I must also say, their range of hosiery is top notch too.
Excellent black tights.
These big stores don't hold the same excitement for me as second hand shops although I always come away with something nice in H & M. Can't wait to browse the charity shops on Saturday. I need a new (old) hat with a brim.

This is making me nostalgic for all those mix tapes I've loved and lost and the wonderful folk who created them. Sniff. My favourite was destroyed under the wheels of a van, along with my personal stereo. That was a bad day. Can I have a copy of any mix tapes made too? Ooooh Official Anorak Mixtape ...
Cook for a minute in a little butter then allow to soak in hot stock for a few minutes of the heat. The stock gives the flavour. A non-veggie friend of mine recommends frying a little in bacon fat. I like a sqeeze of fresh lemon or lime on mine as well and you can put pretty much anything through it.

Just passed a pied wagtail bobbing on the concrete on my way to work. Great way to start the day. Sooooo cute.
I used to always warm up to Nirvana's "Lithium". The warm up consisted of me jumping up and down and flailing my arms wildy during the chorus and some light jogging during the verses. Not in front of people of course.

I stopped listening to Radiohead after The Bends but I'm quite into In Rainbows. The video gives me motion sickness though but so do swivel chairs and elevators. What the hell is happening to Thom Yorke's head in this picture? I can't look at it without laughling out loud each time. http://news.bbc....
I went to the gym! I did half an hour on the bike, and five minutes walking fast uphill on the treadmill (no running for me, for I have poorly knees), five minutes on the stepping machine, and another five minutes on the bike. That's good, right? I went to the cinema afterwards, though, and had som...
There's no reason tehy shouldn't dispense with fivers and think how much better people would be able to manage their money. Bog notes just burn holes in my wallte but fivers fold into themselves and hide in corners.
When are you going? If you book a train a month in advance you can get a single between Bristol and Glasgow for £22. It takes 6 hours and 25 minutes. http://www.thetrainline.com Sometimes it's a lot cheaper to buy singles if you're booking in advance. Heading off 29th January back 6th Feb. I'm g...
