They were indeed. I was hugely impressed by Butcher Boy also, having never heard them at all before last night. The sound was spot on for them, too. Have they released anything? Both of the band's singles are sold out, but their album's still available! http://www.howdoesitfeel.co.uk/shop.html Exce...

My second cup of tea (Orange Fruit Infusion) was the most awful thing I have ever drunk, though. Luckily offset by eating ...

Just a reminder that the Pete Green album MUST be called "Pete your Greens", or possibly even "Pete your Greens or you'll get no pudding"

A girl, called Eloise. She was born on... Saturday morning, I think? Same birthday as Fred West. I haven't met her yet but I'll drop off some maracas or something and then work up through ukelele, recorder etc. and see if I can get her onto the dulcimer by Christmas. 'The Greatest Invention Ever' is...

Gasp! What an honour! But we're not pregnant any more. We're "new parents". Which still prevents us from doing any gigs for ages, unfortunately. Still - we're doing a Cloudberry single with three new songs - "everyone's fault but mine", "inflammable means flammable" and a new one that might be calle...

I was just thinking earlier that they should make tiny little drum kits that you could drum on with your fingers, but somehow they'd magically sound like a full kit when recorded. The future continues to disappoint. I'm crap at programming drums, I tend to go for really electronic sounds as that's e...

I love the bit in Ghostwritten about the two teenagers in Japan who love Jazz, it's one of the best bits of a book I've ever read. Although I suppose most books aren't as easy to divide into "bits"! I was trying to read "Stranger in a Strange Land" but it's SO slow and I eventually realised I was ne...

Hi Pete!
I'm not sure. My housemate has been putting on gigs recently so I'll see if he fancies doing one that would suit you, that would be ace.

Derby

Hooray! Hooray for Derby. Sometimes known as "Nottingham's sexy, retarded little brother". Here are some good things that are happening in Derby soon for those who like to keep an eye. On. Derby. October 12th - Das Wanderlust and Plans & Apologies at Five Lamps, Derby. November 4th - The School, Pag...

We're doing a Cloudberry single soon, and so are The Deirdres. You opened the floodgates, Ian. We are taking over Miami.
