Re: The Cavalcade

This is SO weird, I only dug this up for a listen a couple of days ago. I too would love to know what they are up to these days, I interviewed theme years ago and the are thoroughly pleasant chap's.

That must be fake. There is no way you'd catch Morrissey making himself look like a right twat waving a flag.

It's with a heavy old heart we announce the end of JLH (http://brilldream.blogspot.co.uk/2017/03/honeys-dead-jlh-2013-2017.html) But. but but! We have one last hurrah. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h195/shaunofsalop/Just%20Like%20Honey%202_zpsinb4lkpa.png https://www.facebook.com/events/18235181...

Salop's premier pop party returns after our post indietracks break (we've nearly got rid of all that dust) for all your dancing needs. I think this one will be quite fortuna pop heavy. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h195/shaunofsalop/Just%20Like%20Honey_zpsavscanmo.jpg https://www.facebook.com/ev...

Sounds good to me! The beauty of earlier nights is that it means we can catch the last train home, though an ice cream all nighter sounds cool.

That's the equation we can't crack at Just Like Honey, we can get them on the floor but not out of the pub so there's 4 people at half ten and loads and loads an hour later. Pop and pizza sounds a great mix. Keep me posted on the next one, I'll try and pop up.

[spam] I wrote this about the loss of FPop. Probably forgot about 47 bands, but with a label that good, what can you do? http://brilldream.blogspot.co.uk/2016/0 ... rgers.html [/spam]

Re: Things I am listening to now then

Works been a bit *difficult* recently, and I've been listening to this whilst power walking to the pub. The bit where it goes synthy and the chorus after, well, it's just bloody bliss.

Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

You're giving me flashbacks! I definitely asked for Beyonce! :-) Yours was the only request we couldn't sort out sadly. Sorry. (Though I did get quite a ticking off outside the Sunday campsite for not playing any Mary Chain, which was fair enough). The limited time and limited CD's put pay to that....

Can I start the campaign to have Expert Alterations back next year please? They are like having four shy Niall Spook Schools rocking about the place. I think they may have a pretty serious Buckfast habit.

Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

So who was there when crystalball was dj-ing in the marquee? Everything about that set was perfect - but no moment more so than during 'Eurodisco', when somebody whipped out a great big EU flag and a dusty dancefloor erupted in prolonged cheers. Away with all the usual caveats of rationality: I rem...

The soya one was my favourite. Great burgers. I had a spare 20 minutes to wait for a pizza at one point and it was well worth it.

Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

That was Richard and Laura TMB who were responsible for that little nugget I believe (bloody kids) - I'll leave it up to them to explain, at some point... having said that, throughout my set I was constantly harangued by a bloke to play the Wu-Tang Clan (and not the Hayman song), and a very drunk w...
