Re: 2017! What a year

I am very glad I booked Tuesday off work. Fantastic weekend. There are photos; a lot of rubbish ones but I upload them anyway. https://www.flickr.com/photos/orqwith/albums/72157686945226716 Two of my faves: https://www.flickr.com/photos/orqwith/35912058520/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/orqwith/3546...

Hotel booked for this. Thankfully not a Premier Inn. My back has memory twinges about the Nottingham Premier Inn.

Re: Indietracks 2015 Photos and Memories

I enjoyed every band I saw, even though I was in pain from airbed sleeping and carrying too much in my rucksack. I'm not sure I'm going to manage that again; getting too old. Loved in particular: Chorusgirl, Feature, Colour Me Wednesday and of course Martha. I did not enjoy being very cold in the te...

Ah, sad to hear this. We will be in Congleton, though - only just up the road from us.

Re: Indietracks 2013 Photos and Memories

I am still trying to remember half of it, I saw many more bands than previous years. Loved The Tuts, and also enjoyed playing Tuts t-shirt bingo (did anyone not buy one?). The Secret History were rather fine. I adored the Brilliant Corners, had one of their LPs back when they were about originally. ...

Re: Who's camping?

We've never had to park more than 100 yards from our tent. I'm OK about paying a bit extra for car on site - I thought that was introduced last year. It is luxury camping in my opinion, worth the money, plenty of facilities. I don't think I'll ever go back to Reading after Indietracks...

Re: The weather pessimism thread

We've been welly shopping. I've packed 3 waterproofs already. The count is likely to rise; I'm all about contingency. I drew the line at waterproof trousers, though, it's too warm for those. Praying for a dry spell for the tent erection phase.

I don't suppose The Siddeleys are still going, are they? Also have a very fond spot for The Popguns.

Re: Indietracks 2010 memories and photos

Oh, and if they're on here, a big thank you to the 2 ladies who busted me out of the loo on Friday night when the lock broke! I think that was my wife, Jo, and Meriel Parallelogram! They told me about having to kick the door in to rescue someone... Ah, the names ring a bell now! Thanks Jo & Meriel!...

Would have loved the petting zoo. :-(

Also adored the owl skirts, but due to the sizes came away with a photo instead of a skirt:

I did wonder whether to phone for help, but could hear someone outside, so uttered a plaintive "help", and stood back whilst the door was barged in a very efficient manner. :-)

Re: Indietracks 2010 memories and photos

Enjoying reading all your posts. I loved the festival, even though I'm a bit clueless about modern indie stuff; it was really my bloke who wanted to go. Ballboy I really enjoyed, probably because they're the only band I'd heard before (well, apart from the Primitives). Camping was fun, although the ...

Re: Indietracks 2010 memories and photos

I assumed the horse in the rug had sweet itch - a skin irritation caused by midges. This is often treated by putting a Boett rug on the horse (http://www.sweet-itch.co.uk/boett.html).
