I don't know Say Sue Me but the other four would make for an absolute dream of an indietracks!

Re: The Middle Ones

I put this in the Twitter but after thinking about anorak, it really belongs here: We spent all day not getting to our holiday in Cromer due to a broken car so when we got home I downloaded the new Middle Ones lp to cheer myself up and found out there is a song on it called Cromer which has doubly c...

Re: That was the Indietracks 2018 that was

And Tonieeee - we’re all absolutely gutted to hear you had that experience. We have a really firm safety policy at Indietracks (https://www.indietracks.co.uk/about/safety-at-indietracks/) and anyone spotted, or reported to us, as behaving in this way will be ejected from the festival. We’ll be high...

Re: That was the Indietracks 2018 that was

I'm sorry that happened Tonieee. You should have reported it to one of team Indietracks though. They've made it clear that sort of behaviour won't be tolerated at the festival... Thanks Dan. Yes that would have been the best approach but I didn't see the person who said it (I generally wander aroun...

Re: That was the Indietracks 2018 that was

Seeing lairy lads who were there I didn't notice them myself (I am quite unobservant/oblivious) but reading this has reminded me that someone shouted something really horrible at me as I walked by. It really upset me at first but then I decided that this kind of thing doesn't happen at indietracks ...

Re: The weather pessimism thread

At least one person that I know of has had to seek medical attention due to heatstroke at indietracks. It might have been the year Gregory Webster played on the train - I was on that train and remember it being unbearably hot.

And the fact two teenage girls finished their set while grown men threw bottles at them when pretty much any of the other band would have stormed off in the same situation makes them a lot more credible.

I'll shut up now...

Re: Colour Me Wednesday

And the thing that's made me cross is that you're using the fact that they were bottled as an indication of their worthiness or credibility but it's just an indication of violent, loutish behavior by a bunch of knobheads who were upset that 'their' festival was being invaded by girl cooties.

Re: Colour Me Wednesday

In 2000 Daphne & Celeste were a big hit amongst indiepop fans in Sheffield and filled the dance floor whenever they were played at Offbeat. They were bottled by misogynistic lad rock loving twats at Reading. They're a great pop band - some of the best pop is 'manufactured' and much better than a lot...

Everyone! Yesterday I had a limited edition vegetable katsu pastie. Veg and chickpeas (chickpeas!) in a sort of chip shop curry sauce. The pastry had sort of crispy bits on as well (see Wheatabeat passim - I really liked that though!). I'm probably not doing it justice but it was a thing of profoun...

It was great again as usual! I'm still completely exhausted now though... Thank you so much to every one involved in organising/running it! <3 <3 <3 My highlights: Monkey Swallows The Universe doing a Slow Down Tallahassee cover - very emotional but very lovely. Cola Jet Set and Lucky Soul - I enjoy...
