Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

I had a smashing time this year, and I’m very grateful to Team Indietracks for booking me again. My main regret was being so broken from Saturday that I was completely wiped out for Sunday and could barely get myself dressed let alone back on the bus to Butterley. I wish I had some kind of Indietrac...

Re: Real ale request thread

If a keg bar is a genuine possibility then I can have a word with Frankie Jr. They just opened a tasting room at the brewery and it's literally only 8 miles from the Indietracks site. Might be a bit short notice but definitely next year!

Re: Frankie Machine

Cheers all - gig in Sheffield in the new year would be good Pete! It has been a long time coming and it feels good to finally get there, as there were lots of annoying set backs in the recording process along the way. Now it's just the miserable bit of trying to get people to hear it and not getting...

Re: General Stuff People Want to Know

It’s a serious issue, and as rotten as the concept of Workfare is - doesn’t part of you think that the guy doing the tweeting would be much happier in his life if he hung out at Butterley looking at trains, rather than sat on twitter pissing and moaning about how crap everything is? Hanging out in ...

Re: Frankie Machine

Hello To celebrate my Christmas birthday I'm releasing a FREE Christmas Birthday single! It's probably one of the most uplifting Christmas songs you'll ever hear, and it's called (I'm Going To Kill Myself For) Christmas https://frankiemachine.bandcamp.com/track/im-going-to-kill-myself-for-christmas ...

Re: Ray K stranded in Derby

Hello!

Yes - are you camping?

I'm planning to get the 6:45pm bus from Derby - but that's the one that goes to Butterley Station, not the one that goes to Golden Valley Campsite

International Space Station

For those people camping who are hardcore enough to stay up all night (or perhaps you can’t get to sleep for the snoring) – Indietracks this year has been arranged coincide with the International Space Station appearing in the skies over Derbyshire. It makes two passes per night Friday Night/Saturda...

Re: shit you find on youtube by bands you love that is good

The Bodines at Alton Towers on Children's ITV. I imagine in 1987 people thought things would be this way for ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJGOAZq2D24 I just picked up a VHS on ebay of the promo vids for the two Played singles, which I was surprised to see weren't on the youtube. So I upload...

Re: Shout Out Louds

I know your tongue is probably in your cheek and I'm just a morning grump, but those seem like very strange reasons to like a band of any style. The "female keyboard player" comment just makes me think of the weird situation in a lot of groups where "hey, look! We have a lovely lady on stage, excep...

Re: Shout Out Louds

That's weird – I searched for Shout Out Louds and that thread doesn't show up in the results, even though it's the topic name. Adding the ! to the search string makes no odds. I guess ! is a reserved character for pattern matching or something and it doesn't compute But anyway – that answers my ques...
