Re: Alfreton Hotel Availble 27-29th July

Thanks... Please can I put you on a wait list and see if someone else can take it for longer? I know that probably sounds greedy, but all in I have shelled out about £500 to get over to indietracks this year (including flights, car hire, a stopover in Copenhagen so that I could arrive in time for th...

Re: Alfreton Hotel Availble 27-29th July

I also have a room available, 27th to 30th. I have just discovered that I won't be able to come this year. I am gutted and quite out of pocket. Amongst other things I have a Travelodge Room booked for Friday, Saturday and Sunday Nights. Would anyone like it for all or some of that time? The cost for...

Hello Saferide
Are Hello Saferide active at the moment? If they are, then yeah, massive +1 for that!
Annika Norlin's other project Säkert! released a new album today... so that is an option too.

Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

I thought this was the best line-up ever! Said the man who played an excellent set. Seriously though, I agree, I think this was a really strong line-up - the music was great. Also, the food was great, the people were great even the weather was great - the only thing that wasn't great were the fligh...

Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

Gopals did taste particular good this year and the choice at the vegan stall was excellent. I think I'm going to have to break one of my Indietracks traditions next year and have more than two meals over the three day weekend. Yes! I don't know if I was just very hungry this year, but everything I ...

Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

I posted my photos when I was rushing around and before without reading what was happening, which was a silly thing to do, because apparently there was a whole lot of context of which I was not aware. People suggesting that urban music doesn't have a place at indietracks makes me really sad. Firstly...

Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

Probably a lot of you will have seen my pictures, but just in case someone else wants to... I put some selected pictures here: https://www.facebook.com/jonny.howell/media_set?set=a.10153773175432129.1073741860.517112128&type=3&pnref=story And if you want the unsifted version, I put about four times ...

He set up a lucrative venture renting out his two spare cardigans. Or wear all three at once happy in the knowledge no one else is that warm.

Yes, this.

Re: Clothing considerations

It is looking pretty lovely now. If you have room for the brolly, yes please, I am loving the tradition of it! We should commemorate the official handing over of the brolly, and such.

Re: Clothing considerations

When I left the house this morning there was a 10 per cent chance of rain, said the met office, so I packed accordingly. Now there is a 50 per cent chance of rain on Saturday afternoon, I have no wellies, and I sort of feel like I tempted fate. Sorry everyone. Obviously it's not all about me, but th...

Re: Alfreton Travelodge

Due to lack of interest, I am instead going to reassemble all the furniture in the room into a fort/den, because this is a rare opportunity to do that which won't result in being told off. Possibly. As long as I use the do not disturb sign, it should be great.

Re: The weather pessimism thread

I just looked at the weather! Indietracks isn't meant to be wet. How did this happen? Quick, let's move the whole kit and caboodle to the Nordic countries, I am bouncing through Sweden on my way from Finland and I can personally attest that it is lovely in both countries. Sunday isn't looking great,...

Enjoy the lake!
I think in the 90s the only festivals I had been to were V festivals and Leeds. Which reminds me, I am so happy Indietracks exists.

Thank-you, I shall!

Re: General Stuff People Want to Know

I think this is a long shot, but I thought I would ask, do you reckon there is any chance of the iPhone app being out before Wednesday... after that I will be out of the country and wifiless all the way until I arrive at indietracks (when I am still out of the country in terms of my data plan). I wi...

As it turns out, I shall be alone in my family sized travel room, so if anyone wants/needs to split the cost of a room, and hang out with me, send me a message and maybe that will work.

I am starting to get excited now... as of yesterday everything is booked! If it was possible to book in at Gopal's Curry Shack, that would be reserved too. "Hi, do you have a table for one on the Friday at about 8pm?"

Yes! A case that lets you down can be a dreadful thing to face. A trusty case that gets you through countless adventures and gigs is what is needed. Yey.
