Re: The Flatmates - Mini Tour August 2013

If anyone accidentally books refund protection with Seetickets, let me know and I'll refund it. It's easily done.

I've even uploaded a lovely picture of them on the See website - http://www.seetickets.com/artist/the-flatmates/369939

If you've got a more up to date picture, send it my way!

Re: Nottingham

Apparently they lease it off the former veg/fruit seller owner. Not sure how clued in the council and what not are, but it's used as a practice room during non-gig times, so it's an oft-used space.

Re: Nottingham

Yo, gig putting on types. Turns out a chap at Seetickets and an ex-chap at Seetickets have a gig space just a minute or two out of town (behind Sneinton Market, near Bunkers) called JT Soars (ex-fruit and veg warehouse). Their all punk DIY types, but it looks a cheap space, BYOB and all the gigs are...

Re: Nottingham

More Nottingham venue news. Apparently the guy who owns Trent Barton has done up one of their old disused bus depots in the Eastside/Sneinton area and turned it into a music venue of sorts.

Re: The Football

During a sleepover at my house, Charlton Athletic right-back Simon Francis, unprompted I might add, turned on my bedside light and place his purple erect penis under the light so I could have a look at it. I used to play on the same team as Northampton Town's Shaun Harrad. He was a right tit. Erm, e...

Re: Nottingham

Apparently O2 Academy are buying Trent Uni's 'Glo Bar' and making it their own venue (and letting Trent Uni use it for their student events). That goes alongside Rescue Rooms massive overhaul (they've moved it all around and stuff) and Rock City rebranding and relaunching The Rig as a separate venue...

Re: The Football

Erm, not a great deal. I've seen him play for the USA a couple of times, but I've not seen him play for Orebro in Sweden. Instead of signing with MLS or entering the MLS SuperDraft when he left college, he went and tried his luck in Scandinavia, like a lot of young Americans do (they tend to pay a b...

It looks a bit fancier than normal. I've taken some gambles with my team this year. Balotelli better come good, the massive mental.

Re: The Football

Phew. Calmed down now. I was shaking like a shitting dog for the last 10 minutes or so. So close and thought we'd done enough to take it to extra time near the end. Was sulking so went to Londis and bought a load of beer and a £5 scratchcard. A big win on one of these will lift me out of the post-lo...

Forest vs Leeds would be a delightful final. Still, you'd probably just cheat, so forget that.

Re: The Football

I'm sure when leeds finish 7th, and Forest finish 6th, we'll hear a lot more..... x It's this defeatist attitude that's got you where you are. Still, not over yet, is it? Leeds can beat QPR, say 4-0 and Crystal Palace beat us 2-0. That'd do it. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_u5pE7eoPrfI/THcQD0UAczI/AAAA...

Pffft. I hadn't even heard of Leeds United until this season, so you don't know what you're talking about.

Re: The Football

Hardly opening up applications is it Richard? Having said that, the way were playing, it's more than likely we'll finish outside Top 6. If it's not us, what a choice, your lot, Hull or Millwall! I was told they had opened up applications. I didn't do my research, I'm afraid. Sorry. You've finished ...
