Re: Is indiepop racist?

indiepop (or, ugh, "twee") is inherently a white person's genre- this picture of pale kids singing about bucolic pastures and cups of tea. The idea that bucolic pastures and cups of tea are inherently for white people is racist. Eh, never said that only white people are entitled to those things (un...

Is indiepop racist?

I've seen in many places this idea that indiepop (or, ugh, "twee") is inherently a white person's genre- this picture of pale kids singing about bucolic pastures and cups of tea. This, coupled with the fact that I've seen few persons of color playing indiepop- it's food for thought. What do you guys...

Clyde's New Car #1

The first issue of my new mini-zine Clyde's New Car has just been completed, and I'm rather proud of it, so I hope I get a few readers haha. It features my musings on indiepop and gender politics, some record reviews, comics, and other various fun stuff. It's around 10 pages, black and white, and fr...

What format do you prefer?

or What format do you usually buy music on?

for me, it's digital for the most part, just because it's like easier than going out and seeking out physical copies, or waiting for your package after ordering it online. Though, I would love to increase my vinyl collection. Maybe when I get a job.
