Six Organs Of Admittance - 'Shelter From The Ash'

It's a bit coruscating.

I am listening to R.E.M.'s Chronic Town ep for the first time in years and it sounds mighty fine.

Will you report back how they are live?

I love the album.

The new Les Savy Fav is pretty good, isn't it?

I am, at this moment, listening to Baja California Norte by Calavera. It's sort of a slinky, dirty sounding Mariachi-a-billy.

Yes, it is as good as that sounds. It may make a future appearance on the World Famous Home of Rusty Spoon Music. There might even be some Bristols on there at some point, too.

Hurr, I said bristols.

I am listening to Les Savy Fav - Rage In The Plague.

I think the whole album is my favourite of the year. This song is especially brilliant for just being able to yell out phrases from it at random.

At this moment I am listening to "Island of Lost Souls" by the entirely peerless Tall Boys. You could join me in this worthwhile endeavour, if you tried.

Kim Deal and Bob Pollard - Love Hurts (cover)

This was always one of my favourite old songs, and somehow Kim Deal singing the lyrics (even if its not remotely country) just makes it even better. I love Kim.
