Ha!

It's like Henry Kissinger and the Nobel Peace Prize... or something.

He told the BBC that the [Kaiser Chiefs] - one of Britain's biggest indie groups - had made their third album "weird and fresh and radical" in response.
Yeah, we'll see about that.

It's a good move though. Don't Coldplay make all their albums new and wheel-reinventing too?

Wow, that must have been one fascinating interview:
Wilson said: "That indie by numbers is boring."

Songwriter and drummer Nick Hodgson added: "It's very, very boring."

The lyrics to I Predict A Riot sound like they were written by a minister with the Home Office portfolio giving a speech about knifecrime and binge drinking. Wooh! Rock n Roll Revolution KC style is completing sodoku puzzles in your massive house and multi-tracking the guitars.
And by me, I mean, Flexo.

It was the original release! It was years ago! I was in the process of ending a very long relationship!

Don't bully me. I'm carrying a knife.

Is that the singer in that photo? Where's he tucked his face?

Seriously, the spoken bit in the middle is almost Europop barmy. It's Vince Hilarious. That song leaves me dancing, with tears in my uh eyes.

Saying all that I think KC's won the indie-mp3 poll a few years back. Can't say they've ever appealed to me, though.

they're not my cuppa tea. don't like any of the songs, although i thought he seemed like a decent, funny chap when hosting ...Buzzcocks. i suppose they don't sound like their contemporaries though - none of that horrible 'nu-indie' disco drum beat.

it's still quite unintentionally funny though.

or possibly Table Hedgehog Indigo

... yes that's probably closer, that's what I meant ... not bibble.

Bibble is what it made me do.
