Anni Rossi

Post by caramarydaisy » Fri Mar 05, 2010 11:31

all ive been able to listen to lately is rockwell by anni rossi, i love it. each song is perfect, and i dont care how many different versions i may have heard of some of the tracks, each one seems to enchant me all over again.

there just seems to be something so unique about her style and her sound.. ive certainly scant come across anyone/thing else that i could compare her easily to.

recordings wise, i have scandia on cd, a live recording called insects kissing, and then afton and rockwell. ive also got her christmas album downloaded. i managed to miss out on the wheelpusher single via the too pure singles club :(

i love watching her live too..

anyone else a fan?

I'm a big fan of Rockwell, originally only got it because I'm a geek for anything involving Steve Albini (who recorded it), I love how realistic and live it sounds without it being lo-fi at all. My friends think it sounds like Regina Spektor, which made me very angry.
