GO&TGG are fast becoming one of the most interesting things I've heard in quite some time. Love the way it takes what we know them for (previously) and twists it into something different, fresh and exciting. Had the pleasure of hearing this song for the first time, really loud, when drunk and being driven to my home for the night on Saturday. I was proper excited by it.

Buzzin'.

Here's 'Hitting The Brick Wall', the flip side to the forthcoming 7".

Loved the first two singles, can't say I'm too bothered about this one, although I like the B-Side.

Are Girl One and the Grease Guns The Blanche Hudson Weekend under a different name?

Call the RSPCA! That might be the result of mixing it blindfold - under strict instruction, of course. Thanks, Andy.

Thanks Christos - I hope you managed to get a copy! Apparently, the record sold out in three weeks. Norman Records may have a few copies left and there was one left at Strand Records in Stoke yesterday. Squirrel may possibly repress it next year, after the next single is released or it could just stay as a one off single, there and gone. Oh.....the next single is scheduled for March 2014.

A new Girl One and the Grease Guns single is up for pre-order from Squirrel Records. It's a two track 7" with a bonus three track CD, "Sonic Spume'. The 7" vinyl consists of two tracks, the atmospheric 'No Longer Spellbound' and the playful, Spectrum-pop of 'The Nightmare Room', whilst the bonus CD includes a reworked electronic-pop version of The Manhattan Love Suicides' 'Veronica' plus two new tracks 'Burn My Brains' and 'Minimal Effort'.

The record can be pre-ordered from here:-

The new 7"/CD package, released this Friday, contains a cover of The Manhattan Love Suicides' guitar-pop smash 'Veronica', dressed up and wrapped around a pretty synth-pop arrangement. 'Veronica' is from the 'Sonic Spume' CD and word from Squirrel Records is that the record has virtually sold out on pre-orders alone. Maybe best to nip in quick if you intend getting a copy.

Hope so too, Trev! There are about 20 copies at Norman Records, who have written a short review about the record on their site.

I bought one from Norman Records last Wednesday - arrived by Friday morning.

They have issued a 7" single and a CD single together, with different tracks on both. Definitely worth getting an order in before they run out.
