I feel like there is another gig on that night (and not just the pro-choice demo going on earlier in the day!)...? Maybe I am imagining it. I think the Fika Recordings gig takes place the previous night. Indeed, it does feel like a while since you've graced us with your presence. :-)

Yes! Those bandcamp versions aren't the finished ones. They're the unmastered ones. Shall be swapping over to the mastered songs tonight. The songs are brilliant and they sound stunning!

There's not gonna be an Odd Box merch stall at Indietracks - am sure it will be for sale at Indietracks though - gonna try and sneak on to the proper merch stall.

These 7" are being delivered on Thursday so any pre-orders will be out in the post next Monday (25th).

Loving the 'studies track on the Indietracks compilation! Chorus reminds me of the Harvest Ministers. Great stuff.

It's great isn't it? I'm really looking forward to the album. Also, A Little Orchestra are joining them onstage at T'tracks. That's going to be a real treat.
And we just can't wait to make more mistakes and to fluff our breaks, and to stuff our faces with cake.

Hello.

Been a while but we have some exciting news - OUR DEBUT ALBUM IS OUT NOW!

It's called ' Let Desire Guide Your Hand' , was recorded at Soup Studios with a big hand from A Little Orchestra and it's bloody brilliant - I can say that since I'm not on it much, actually.

Digital download here: http://theunderstudiesuk.bandcamp.com

Vinyl pre order from Firestation Records here: http://www.firestation-records.de/catal ... rhand.html

On Sunday 30th March we have our album launch gig at The Lexington in London, all the details on the WGT link - early doors 6pm!

Thanks!!

The album sounds ace. Shame I'm out of town on Sunday.

Wow! "Jackie' is fantastic - edgy and tense with beautiful orchestral flourishes. I've never heard the Understudies sound so openly desperate. And the instrumental section rocks and cries in sympathy and empathy with the sentiment. I'm stuck on this song - will get to listen to the rest of the lp in the next few days - but blimey, what a staggering opening track. This really *is* the one.
It's so easy when the door is wide open.
