The Understudies

Post by brian » Sat Oct 23, 2010 16:19

Our new e.p. has arrived at Oddbox Records HQ and will be ready to order very soon. We're very excited to have this out and would love it if some anorakers came along to our launch this thursday!

We're taking advantage of our incredibley lucky blagging of a standard fare support slot at the wilmington arms this week and have decided this will be our launch night :)

It's very nearly sold out and there are only a handful of tickets left so if anyone wants to come and be harassed into buying our record then don't delay!

Wanting vs Getting ep by the understudies xx.

ps. not sure what the etiquette is with regards promoting your own band here (I always feel very uncool and cringeworthy) but I guess someone has to let the kids know.... sorry.

:-)

The EP is ace!

We've got some tickets left online but I imagine we'd still have some on the door, too.

I'm listening to the EP for the first time (ok, it's the 4th time in a row I'm playing it). I knew some of the songs and the new ones ("My Life Is Not A French Film" and "Signal Passed At Danger") are gorgeous. A must-have.

I'm somewhat late on the uptake of the new EP - picked it up in Glasgow last week and also think it's fantastic and beautiful.

I revisited the EP yesterday and now I'm pretty obsessed with A Girl I Used To Knock About With. That's all.
