I don't see my previous post, so I'll try again. Sorry if this is double now.

thats what i plan on doing.
That's what I did & I'm pretty pleased about it. I've been listening to the new album quite a bit. Each listen goes by so fast, I always feel compelled to start it over & listen again.

Pants yell are fantastic and Andrew is a lovely guy, I was sorry to hear they're calling it a day. If you can find it, their tape 'our horse calls' is a good listen, and has Carly singing lead on a couple of tracks, original of '83 in '05 is sweet.

[I hope it isn't inappropriate to mention I'm selling an old pants yell shirt on ebay right now, I won't post the link but have a search if you like. (please delete this if it is inappropriate).]

Hi,

Do you think there would be enough time/place/audience to get them to the U.K. before they split up over Spring?
If any of you concert-organizing heroes could pull this off I would be forever in your debt...

In case any of you fellow Pants Yell! fans missed this video of them playing "Rue de la Paix" on the slumberland anniversary please enjoy!
It just fills your heart with love for indiepop...(would give up on several body parts just to be there)

Does anyone else think "Received Pronunciation" was probably the best album last year?

I very much doubt we'll see them on this side of the pond any time soon
I am struck speechless by the nape of your neck.

Any chance someone could get this to mp3 and post the link here as a late christmas gift to all Pants Yell fans who only recognize the existence of a great band when they're about to split?

That would be a really awsome farewell, to have their first release going around people who love them...

I managed to find a link to it pretty easily when I looked a couple of weeks ago, but I'm not sure I should post it up here...

Thanks Tompony!
I had been to that blog before but thought they were talking about "Songs for siblings" and just dismissed it.
Downloaded and being enjoyed right now!

Depending on how late you arrived, I believe I have spare copies of Allison Stratton and Recent Drama left over from my abortive attempt at settingup a distro.

Been really missing this band lately... anybody know what ever happened to them? I know that CUFFS recorded a couple singles after Pants Yell!'s demise, but an LP never emerged. Would love to know if they're still making music, Pants Yell! was and still is one of my favorite bands. :'(
