Fox Pop!

Post by Louise » Sun Nov 16, 2008 05:12

The cassingle revival just got a little bit closer cause FOX POP TAPES (caps are my own emphasis) has started up it's nice and perfect and full of indiepop and a bit of Australianness. (the label is American, but there are some Aussies on it)

Didn't the Lucksmiths try this a few years back? And why aren't cassette albums called cassalbums? Or casselpees?

Hey guyyyss, long time, no update! We've got a bunch of new stuff including a brand new tape! This one is by the band Sandy City. It's pretty much Seattle popstars gone SURFER PUNX! Member's of this band include Chris who formally played in Patience Please, Jon from Blanket Truth & Lost Sound Tapes, Zac from the notorious iji, and Elijah who I also think plays with iji. Anyways, it's super rad!
Cheers, Fox Pop
PS. If you haven't heard the big news, Fox Pop send's mp3s to email, if requested upon in the order. Awesome.

Ooh, turquoise cassette tape! I love it. It reminds me of the colourful, glittery cassettes I used to get with my Jem dolls so you could sing along to the Holograms or the Misfits!
There's more than one use for every part
