I've been listening to Gavin Osborn's version of 'It Only Works Because You're Here' constantly for about two days. It could be my general frame of mind, but more than once it has brought a tear to my eye. Thank you, Ray. x

Glad you like it!

Don't thank me though, thank Gavin and Mark!

The CDs are shifting fairly quickly with over 1/3 having gone in under a week. If there's any left they'll be available from me at Indietracks, and possibly from the bands. Linky.
I am struck speechless by the nape of your neck.

The Hibbett got a plug on Richard Herring's Edinburgh Fringe Podcast from TV's Ben Moor. Bit late to mention it now, maybe, but it warmed my cockles.

I'm sure. Sadly I was too broke to see him (or you).

I remember "discovering" MJ Hibbett at a random Bright Club my mate dragged me to because Simon Price was doing a set and he was obsessed with The Manics. So many good songs.

Our brand new single (the first non-Christmas/non-Dinosaur based new material in MILLENIA) is out TODAY. Here's the rather smashing video:

The ending was recorded at Tramlines at the Redhouse, some familiar faces in the crowd!

All details about how to GET a copy are at http://www.mjhibbett.co.uk/iwanttofindouthowitends/ - hope you like it!

Where is the Guitar Bar, Mark?

It's probably where all the cool kids are hanging out, to be fair.

That's presumably the same Grace Petrie as appeared on The Now Show last Friday evening, yes? Enjoyable.

Don't know why the image isn't showing - maybe your computer is trying to spare you? It should be here - http://mjhibbett.co.uk/gigs/posters/tourpostersm.jpg

Guitar Bar is at Hotel Deux, Clumber Avenue, Sherwood Rise, Nottingham NG5 1AP - all I know is that it has a lot of a) folk b) real ale. One out of two isn't bad.

And yes, it IS that Grace Petrie!

Cor, it's ages since I plugged something here, where has the time gone eh?

Anyway, just wanted to say - we have a new album NEARLY finished what we'll be putting out (hopefully) next spring. It's jolly exciting and features no (0) space dinosuars or other conceptual matters, but DOES feature at least 4 solid gold HITS. Possibly more, but obviously modesty forbids.

SO we'll be looking for gigs again around then and I wondered if anybody had any hot tips for festivals or THINGS we could apply for? I've spent the past couple of years doing other stuff so am a bit out of the loop, so any THORTS would be most welcome!
