I went on Sunday and thought they were great - on top form with lots of early tunes. Why do people insist on chatting through gigs though? It's annoying me more and more....

Highlights of a tremendous night in Leicester last night: The Rollercoaster Ride live apparently for the first time in fourteen years, Stevie attempting to cover Under The Moon Of Love, The Loneliness of A Middle Distance Runner, Stuart namechecking Prolapse (and Gaye Bikers On Acid).

This is what the band tweeted earlier:
Tonight, Admiral Fallow take the stage from 7.45 - 8.30, then we're onstage at 9.

i was thinking 'i wish theyd do slow graiffiti' and they did.
but yeah cos theyre like a quite quiet band every show is a war between people who are like 'hey! lets pay thirty quid for a ticket to see belle and sebastian and then TALK OVER THEM!' and the other people who are like 'lets fight those bastards by going shhhhhhhhh constantly like at fucking primary school. THAT way, no one will actually be able to hear anything at all except people talking and us shushing them!'
YEAH NOW I'M GONNA FUCK THA LOCH NESS MONSTA!

I highly recommend seeing the Come On Sister video that's just been put up on the band's website. My favourite bit is with Angelos Epithemiou, from Shooting Stars, in the butchers.

I quite like the song, though I'm not so fussed on the production. I'd been to hear it live.

No way! Yes, that's the one!

I spent a gig at Bowlie2 pestering the life out of Stevie and he's a cool sexy guy so only fun was intended just there .. it's only his dodgy specs in that video that make me think of Angelos.

Could it maybe be a Stevie Jackson solo show instead? This site seems to think so.

mmm... it's funny how news threads can change in the space of a few hours! Earlier this was being shown as b&S tour dates!

Still - should be worth going along to!

I expect it was that Beatles photo shoot that turned Paulie vegetarian. And good on him for it.

No one posted this yet, right? It's quite telling that it took someone (me) 2 months to do.

We were trying to pretend it didn't exist.
