Real ale request thread

I'm not sure if we can relay requests to the Mansfield CAMRA branch who help to organise the real ales for Indietracks, but I thought it would be good to start a thread where we request delicious beers from previous years, or other local beers that you know about and would like to see racked up and ready to drink!

My vote goes to Citraville from the Bottle Brook Brewery. It's a 6.9% IPA and it was there last year.... delicious and like rocket fuel :)

Some stuff from relatively local breweries Thornbridge and Raw would be nice. As would more vegan and gluten free ale.

Thought last year's selection was ace mind. That Citraville stuff was incredible. Also the Come On Wednesday when something more session-y was required.

They need to get some beer in from Shiny - where Frankie Jr is the brewer!

You would literally be drinking from the Indietracks gene pool

Agreed - last year's selection was tip top. Nice to hear some more love for Citraville - the group of people I was with thought it was too strong.... they were wrong, it can never be too strong ;) I was happy though because it meant the barrel lasted longer :)

Beer at Indietracks is always well chosen, but if I'm totally honest I don't enjoy cask beer on gravity all that much when it's warm out. It'd be amazing to see some craft keg on draught (and if it costs more to provide, I'd happily pay more).

But if that's beyond the pale for Camra, chilled cans or bottles from breweries like Beavertown, Cloudwater, Vocation, Kernel, Siren, To ├śl, North Union and what have you would go down a treat.

I know, we're just spoilt these days, aren't we.

Those of us in Sheffield definitely are.

But yeah, some colder, fizzier craft ale would go down a treat, especially if it's warm.

I say we get Kit to come and open a keg and bottle bar in the signal box. Swanwick Beer Co!

If we're looking local, Buxton is another top Derbyshire brewery.

If a keg bar is a genuine possibility then I can have a word with Frankie Jr. They just opened a tasting room at the brewery and it's literally only 8 miles from the Indietracks site. Might be a bit short notice but definitely next year!

Oakham Ales do some good ones...local-ish

Citra is good and quite popular, they had it in the Morrisons at Ilkeston for a while. Their Bishops Farewell is my fave, sometimes have it in Wetherspoons.

FUN FACT: Oakham Ales are brewed in my old dole office in Peterborough. Well, they used to be, I think that's just the pub now, but still.

I had a DELICIOUS pint of JHB in my local last night, it is the very pinnacle of Drinking Beer. If they get some, can they get LOADS please?
