hayley's just sneered at me and basically called me 'grandad' for not knowing who big joanie are

I'm now making up for that over at their bandcamp

I feel such a fool, this is what happens when you don't have a twitter account and spend all your time clinging to the remains of a once mildly active indiepop forum... bah!

Some awesome announcements there. Hugely pleased that Elopes are playing. Thanks Team Indietracks!

I want to see all the bands. Can we just have one stage and make the festival three times as long?

So is it just me that's not that fussed with the line-up thus far?

It's not terrible, but it's not really grabbing me either. There's more bands I am not fussed about seeing (due to seeing them a lot elsewhere or some I'm not keen on) than those I want to see. Maybe it's time to take a break from going.

I'm glad that there are points in the proceedings where I can maybe get some food, go to the toilet, comb my hair, change my outfit or polish my shoes... there have been occasions in the past when I've had to split myself threeways (not pretty) to try and see everything all at once... of course, we don't have the schedule yet, that could still happen, but... I've got some favourites, some dreams come true from those two announcements and plenty of new bands to check out, there's a few things I'm not so sure about but y'know, like I say, that's when I can go get a donut or brush my teeth or something...

and there's still more bands to be announced

my only real worry is that we'll be short a trev and a charl and that doesn't bear thinking about

Yeah there's still around twenty slots to fill so hopefully some of them will whet our Trev's appetite. I'm generally happy if there are four or five bands I *really* want to see (which in this case there are already), some of the rest can hopefully be nice surprises, and the rest of the time will be catching up with lovely people and just, y'know, drinking it in.

Edit: Also, living in Bradford I hardly get to see anybody for the rest of the year. I can imagine living in London, there are fewer bands that you haven't seen already.

We're also looking for some volunteers to be stewards or stage assistants at Indietracks. In return we'll give you free entry and free camping! Here's how to apply if you're interested:

We’re really pleased to announce several more bands for our 2014 festival!

Joining the bill today are The Hobbes Fanclub, The Wendy Darlings, The Yearning, Trust Fund, No Ditching and Okinawa Picture Show. We’re also very happy to say that Stolen Wine Social DJs and Ready Steady Girls DJs will be spinning tunes at our discos after the bands finish. To find out more about all these artists, please visit our line-up page.

We’re very sad to announce, however, that Rocketship are now unable to perform at Indietracks this year.

Cheaper early bird tickets for Indietracks are available until 5pm on Sunday 11 May from our tickets page.

Wonderful interview! As for the latest announcements, I'm very happy for The Yearning. I was quite sad when they pulled out of Popfest Berlin and now I can see them in the best possible location!

We're really excited to announce seventeen more artists for this year's Indietracks, including New Zealand indiepop favourites The Chills and dark melodic popsters The Proper Ornaments.

We've also added The Flatmates, Nat Johnson, Ravioli Me Away, Dorotea, The Hidden Horses, The Royal Landscaping Society, Bill Botting, Wolf Girl, Skeletal Shakes, The Thyme Machine, Watoo Watoo, Marc and Graeme Elston, Lisa Bouvier, The Swapsies and Come Again DJs. We're very sad to say that Franny and Zooey can no longer make it this year.

The Chills will play on Friday 25 July with headliners Allo Darlin'. To read more about today's announcement, please visit our news page:
http://www.indietracks.co.uk/?p=963

Hope you can make it along in July!

To answer the other questions - we're hoping to announce the schedule and final few remaining bands by the end of the month!
