Lovely surprise to see MSTU playing! I thought the show they did last year would be just a one-off. Brill!

Cate Le Bon is quite famous isn't she? I feel a bit silly for not really knowing. Any recommended listening, anyone?

Really looking forward to Grace Petrie - she's one of those people I hear gajillions of great things about and haven't quite got round to checking out yet...

I like Cate Le Bon. Her LP from last year 'Crab Day' was one of my favourites of the year.

I think every 'tracks veteran has one year where the line up doesn't quite do it for them and I'm afraid this is mine. Still going obvs, and it's nice to see how excited everyone else is.

She was on The Chase one evening last week! (Not that that reflects much on her recorded work, but y'know)

For something gentler, folky and beautiful I'd suggest maybe the first album, Me Oh My - I really like Sad Sad Feet. The albums get more upbeat and possibly poppier and more experimental from there, so perhaps I'd suggest Mug Museum next. I really like Crab Day too.

They’ll join The Wedding Present, Cate Le Bon, Martha, Joanna Gruesome, The Tuts and dozens more performers at our festival, which takes place on the weekend of 28-30 July 2017.

Other bands joining the bill today are: Luby Sparks (all the way from Japan), Baby Arms, Stephanie Goodman (formerly of Shrag and The Blue Minkies), The Pooches, The Understudies, Enderby's Room, Cult Party, Crywank, Me Rex, Milk Crimes and John Doe (a brand new project involving Mammoth Penguins).

We’ll also have the following DJs: Offbeat, How Does It Feel To Be Loved?, Sweet Revenge and Evripidis' Jukebox; plus Glasgow's Bum Notes karaoke with Ruby Waters.

Today, we’ve announced the day splits for lots of the artists playing at Indietracks this year, including our headliners and evening bands. We’ve Martha on the Friday, The Wedding Present on the Saturday and Cate Le Bon on the Sunday, and there’s lots more detail over here: http://www.indietracks.co.uk/2017days/

Our early bird tickets are available until Sunday 14 May, so there’s less than two weeks left! Please head over to our website to pick up tickets and for lots more information about the festival: http://www.indietracks.co.uk/tickets

Huge thanks as always to everyone who’s bought early bird tickets already!
