Lovely surprise to see MSTU playing! I thought the show they did last year would be just a one-off. Brill!

Cate Le Bon is quite famous isn't she? I feel a bit silly for not really knowing. Any recommended listening, anyone?

Really looking forward to Grace Petrie - she's one of those people I hear gajillions of great things about and haven't quite got round to checking out yet...

I like Cate Le Bon. Her LP from last year 'Crab Day' was one of my favourites of the year.

I think every 'tracks veteran has one year where the line up doesn't quite do it for them and I'm afraid this is mine. Still going obvs, and it's nice to see how excited everyone else is.

She was on The Chase one evening last week! (Not that that reflects much on her recorded work, but y'know)

For something gentler, folky and beautiful I'd suggest maybe the first album, Me Oh My - I really like Sad Sad Feet. The albums get more upbeat and possibly poppier and more experimental from there, so perhaps I'd suggest Mug Museum next. I really like Crab Day too.

Today we’ve released a stunning 45-track compilation featuring bands playing at this year’s festival.

It includes hits and floor-fillers from well-known artists including The Wedding Present, Cate Le Bon and Frankie Cosmos, alongside some of today’s most exciting newer artists such as Shopping, Peaness, The Tuts, Luby Sparks, Pillow Queens and The Pooches.

There’s a few special songs that you won’t find elsewhere, including a brand new Just Joans song, an exclusive Indietracks mix from The Perfect English Weather, a fantastic Martha demo and lots more!

The Indietracks 2017 compilation is available to download and buy now from:
https://indietracks.bandcamp.com/album/ ... ation-2017

It costs a minimum of £4 to download, and extra donations will be very much appreciated by the Midland Railway charity, which will receive all the proceeds.

It’s only five weeks until this year’s festival, which takes place on the weekend of 28-30 July 2017. Weekend and single day tickets are available from http://indietracks.co.uk/tickets/
